On 17 Jan 2012, I measured radiation at KOGA GOLFLINKS, a public golf course in Koga city, Ibaraki pref of Japan.
The monitorinig place is 175 km from Fukushima Nuclear power plant, and located along the WATARASE river.
The monitor counted 0.11 micro Sievert per hour on a bank, outside of the course.
0.15 micro Sievert per hour at Hole 2 greenside.
On 9 Jan 2012, I played golf and monitored radiation of every hole around tee ground. The highest figure was 0.18 micro Sievert per hour at hole 17, aside the river.
The course was covered with foold water overfllowed from Watarase river in Sep 2011.
Koga city has been periodically monitoring the radiation revells of sports facilities for citizens since June 2011. The radiation revel of KOGA GOLFLINKS jumped up after the flood. The figures are shown in the official website of Koga city.
Huge amount of radioactive materials have been carried to the Ocean, throuh rivers.
Radioactives will be condenced through food chain of lives in the Ocean.
Mankind is on the peak of food chain. We will be facing the most contaminated sea foods after this.
The monitor is made of Ukraine, ECOTEST MKS-05, I monitored Gamma ray.

The Koga Fireworks Festival is a dazzling nighttime fireworks display over the Watarase River. The biggest firework in the display is the Sanjaku-dama, and it is certainly a sight to be seen. The diameter of the projectile is roughly 90 cm (3 ft) and it weighs 300 kg (661 lbs). It can ascend to a height of 600 meters (1,968 feet) and the blast radius is about 650 meters (2,133 feet), making it a truly tremendous display. Onlookers are often left in awe. In total, the event includes some 25,000 fireworks and is one of the biggest fireworks displays in the country. The huge volume and continuous explosions definitely put the Koga Fireworks Festival on the list of must-see attractions.

since 1903. The history and scale
of this display is said to be the largest
in the northern Kanto district.
From 12,000 to 20,000 fireworks,
such as Shakudama(12 inches
across shell), skyrockets and
Star-mine are used to provide a
dazzling combination of sound and
light for the viewers to enjoy.
Attractive points are the final
fireworks(called Niagara) which
are set off in two rows, each
1967ft. long. The week in which
the Ashikaga Firework takes place is
called Watarase Summer Festa.
A jazz concert and other events are
held at Event Hiroba near the
Watarase River Naka Bridge.
