Mt. Zion and Waterholes Canyon hikes
Me and four friends decided to go on our first road trip this summer to Denver, Colorado! We got tickets to see Flume at Red Rocks so we decided to plan a few hikes along the way.
There are so many beautiful places to go within the United States. The hiking spots we went to were:
Mt. Zion - The Narrows - Utah
Horseshoe Bend - Page, Arizona
Navajo National Park - Waterholes Canyon - Arizona
Music:
Hopeless Wanderer - Mumford & Sons

Photographing Antelope Canyon Navajo slot canyon Page Arizona USA Navajo Nation
Antelope Canyon is a slot canyon in the American Southwest. It is on Navajo land east of Page, Arizona. Antelope Canyon includes two separate, scenic slot canyon sections, referred to individually as Upper Antelope Canyon or The Crack; and Antelope Canyon or The Corkscrew.
The Navajo name for Upper Antelope Canyon is Tsé bighánílíní, which means 'the place where water runs through rocks'. Lower Antelope Canyon is Hazdistazí (called Hasdestwazi by the Navajo Parks and Recreation Department), or 'spiral rock arches'. Both are in the LeChee Chapter of the Navajo Nation.

Rating 3A II or III
Just a fun canyon in the Marble Canyon area of the Grand Canyon. A few cool downclimbs with a ton of boulder hopping! There was 3 rappels; 100ft a 60ft and a 75ft. the exit was pretty fun and had a crazy climb with a sketchy traverse.

) With this video you get an Extreme Slow-motion view on the Lake Powell Canyons in Utah, USA. I hope you like it.
Lake Powell is a reservoir on the Colorado River, straddling the border between Utah and Arizona (most of it, along with Rainbow Bridge, is in Utah). It is a major vacation spot that around 2 million people visit every year. It is the second largest man-made reservoir, by maximum water capacity, in the United States behind Lake Mead, storing 24,322,000 acre feet (3.0001×1010 m3) of water when full. Lake Powell was created by the flooding of Glen Canyon by the controversial Glen Canyon Dam, which also led to the creation of Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, a popular summer destination. The reservoir is named for explorer John Wesley Powell, a one-armed American Civil War veteran who explored the river via three wooden boats in 1869. In 1972, Glen Canyon National Recreation Area was established. It is public land managed by the National Park Service, and available to the public for recreational purposes. It lies in parts of Garfield, Kane, and San Juan counties in southern Utah, and Coconino County in northern Arizona. The northern limits of the lake extend at least as far as the Hite Crossing Bridge. A map centered at the confluence of the Escalante River 37°17′22″N 110°52′20″W with the Colorado River gives a good view of the extent of the lake.
Lake Powell is a storage facility for the Upper Basin states of the Colorado River Compact (Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, and New Mexico). The Compact specifies that the Upper Basin states are to provide a minimum annual flow of 7,500,000 acre feet (9.3 km3) to the Lower Basin states (Arizona, Nevada, and California).

THE WAVE | Coyote Buttes North at the Vermilion Cliffs National Monument vlog
Camera Crusades; In this video I'm Hiking to Coyote Buttes North at the Vermilion Cliffs National Monument in Northern Arizona . Some amazing sandstone structures including; The Wave, The Second Wave, Top Rock Arch, The fins and much more. It was a long and challenging hike but the views and the experience was worth every minute. It's amazing location to photograph and explore, but it's hard to get a permit. It took me over a year through the online lottery. Because it's such a difficult place to get a permit, advanced planning is recommended. Print maps, bring GPS and Extra water. Visit my blog for additional content, information, and pictures and some great links to informational websites.

Wupatki National Monument, Arizona
02-17-2015 Produced by Erick F Dircks
As we approached Sunset Crater Volcano, you could see several mountain sides covered with black ash from miles away, as if it happened a few years ago. Driving to the crater, the same could be said about the lava flows. It was hard to believe that it happened 800 years ago. The bonus was Wupatki National Monument was only 20 miles away from the Sunset Crater, and we saw 3/4 of the ruins before camping in the National Forest which had many different boarders in and out of the Monuments. The park ranger told us that the Monument camping facilities were closed for the season, and we could camp in the National Forest as long as we obeyed the rules. Rules were basically leaving only footprints behind, no open fires, common courtesy & sense rules. We set up camp, Laureen cooked us a venison vegetable soup, gazed at the stars, started making plans for our trip home, and went to bed. I woke up second time to put on some more clothes because the temperature. Another hour or so later, I told Randy I was going to start the RV, and he said turn on the furnace! Had enough house battery to last the night! Yeah!!

Hiking to The Wave, Arizona / Utah (HD) (GoPro)
The Wave is a sandstone rock formation located in the United States of America near the Arizona–Utah border, on the slopes of the Coyote Buttes, in the Paria Canyon-Vermilion Cliffs Wilderness, on the Colorado Plateau. It is famous among hikers and photographers for its colorful, undulating forms, and the rugged, trackless hike required to reach it.
BLM limits access to the North Coyote Buttes Wilderness Area to just 20 permits per day.[9] Ten of the permits are available in advance by an on-line lottery conducted four months before the month for which the permit is sought. The remaining ten permits are made available by lottery the day before one's intended hike.[10] Year-round the lottery is held at the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument Visitor Center in Kanab, Utah. The lottery for the walk-in permits takes place at 9:00 in the morning
From the Wire Pass Trailhead, The Wave can be reached by hiking approximately 3 miles (4.8 km) across open desert, making the round-trip to and from The Wave nearly 6-mile (9.7 km) climbing about 350 feet (110 m) in altitude.
Temperatures in this area typically climb above 100 °F (38 °C) in the summer, so it is best to start the hike early. Anyone attempting the hike in any season is wise to be prepared for harsh desert conditions, including fierce winds, blowing sand, and no shade.

All music is by Ron Anderson
Mylungpuppy is the channel of musician Ron Anderson.
I have been making avant-music for over forty years in a number of different projects; PAK, The Molecules, RonRuins, numerous collaborations and solo. I combine composition and improvisation exploring the regions where they intersect. Sometimes my music is brutal, but I’m not afraid of melody, in general my work is pretty much out there.
The main focus of my channel is music, but I also make vlogs on various subjects, cycling, touring and traveling, vegan food, rare vinyl LPs, audio field recordings, etc. Because not everyone is going to be interested in all the subjects covered on this channel, I have made playlists so you do not have to search through videos to find what you are looking for.
I try to answer questions and respond to as many comments as I can, any and all feedback from you is welcome.
I'm trying to make at least one or two new videos a week.
