OLD TRADITIONAL TUK TUKS - THEY STILL HAVE THESE IN THAILAND? | Samrong, Thailand

I never knew they still have these in Thailand. The old traditional Tuk Tuk is still operating in Thailand. Samrong, Thailand to be exact if you want to ride in a real traditional Tuk Tuk.

I was extremely surprised when I stumbled across these old Tuk Tuk sill riding around the local neighbourhood of Samrong, Thailand. I thought these traditional Tuk Tuks were long gone from Thailand.

If you ever wanted to take a short ride in an old traditional Tuk Tuk, head down to Sukhumvit 113 in Samrong, and you will see these bay boys riding up and down this street. Just flag one down and tell them where to take you.

From my experience, Samrong is not that big, but it would still be cool, ride around in one of these things. How many people can say they have ridden in a traditional Tuk Tuk in this day and age right?

DIRECTIONS
Take the green Sukhumvit line all the way to SAMRONG BTS Station, which is currently the last station.

Once you get off the BTS, take the skywalk and walk back in the direction that the Skytrain was coming from. You will cross over the small river and SUKHUMVIT 113 will be on your right-hand side. (The street where the highway bridge starts. The street next to Samrong Market).
