Rotary at Inverell The Sapphire City
Inverell, a small town in Northern NSW has a population of 12000 of very friendly people. The climate at Inverell would have to be the best in Australia, never too hot and never too cool. Some reports have Inverell very cold in the winter mornings, but that is on the river bank. The winter daytime temperature, on average, is perfect.

UFO over Gunnedah NSW Australia June 5th 2010.MP4
UFO over Gunnedah NSW just before 6am on Sat 5th of June 2010.
The thing was nearly directly overhead, coming from the West, when I first saw it. It was a flat oval shape, with the point of light distinctly in the middle. The tail appeared to be spiraling away from the centre, into a much larger oval than is visible in the video.
Near the end of the video there was a jet going behind the cloud or so it seemed. This would have been a flight from Sydney to Perth. They would have had a wonderful view. Unfortunately I can't see the red blinking light of the plane on the video.
It would only have been visible for 2-3 minutes and was travelling fast. It looked a lot like the images from the Hubble Telescope of distant Galaxies swirling around.
RSPCA cleared over koala raid
A NSW Senate inquiry has cleared the RSPCA of allegations of intimidation during a raid on a wildlife park at Gunnedah in northern NSW.
Koalas on the Brink
Since the booming koala populations of the 1990s there has been a sharp decline in Gunnedah koala numbers in the last 7 years. The cause for this decline is due to many factors but is this a fluctuation or will this crisis continue until the Gunnedah koala population faces extinction?
Watch our video to find out what we are doing to protect koalas in the Gunnedah region. More updates are planned for the future so please subscribe to our YouTube channel to keep up to date.
