Legendary Historic Estate in Villanova, Pennsylvania

For more information go to:
As the verdant heart of Ardrossan, Col. Robert Montgomery's legendary 750-acre estate on Philadelphia's Main Line, Albermarle is a property like no other. Its fascinating history as the center for the Montgomery family's equestrian pursuits epitomizes the Main Line's Golden Age. Its transition into a magnificent residence with guest houses, party barn and clock-tower office continues its legacy as world-class property. Surrounded by conservancy land, Albermarle underwent a meticulous renovation supervised by top architects and artisans to become a very private, very sophisticated country estate designed for fine living, entertaining and recreation. Its landscaping and hardscaping are breathtaking, shaping the vistas and gardens that enhance the property in every direction all year long.

One Mind, One Consciousness - when spirituality meets science - Dr Larry Dossey
his distinguished Texas physician, deeply rooted in the scientific world, has become an internationally influential advocate of the role of the mind in health and the role of spirituality in healthcare. Bringing the experience of a practicing internist and the soul of a poet to the discourse, Dr. Larry Dossey offers panoramic insight into the nature and the future of medicine.
Upon graduating with honors from the University of Texas at Austin, Dr. Dossey worked as a pharmacist while earning his M.D. degree from Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, 1967. Before completing his residency in internal medicine, he served as a battalion surgeon in Vietnam, where he was decorated for valor. Dr. Dossey helped establish the Dallas Diagnostic Association, the largest group of internal medicine practitioners in that city, and was Chief of Staff of Medical City Dallas Hospital in 1982.
An education steeped in traditional Western medicine did not prepare Dr. Dossey for patients who were blessed with miracle cures, remissions that clinical medicine could not explain. Almost all physicians possess a lavish list of strange happenings unexplainable by normal science, says Dr. Dossey. A tally of these events would demonstrate, I am convinced, that medical science not only has not had the last word, it has hardly had the first word on how the world works, especially when the mind is involved.
The author of nine books and numerous articles, Dr. Dossey is the former Executive Editor of the peer-reviewed journal Alternative Therapies in Health and Medicine, the most widely subscribed-to journal in its field. The primary quality of all of Dr. Dossey's work is scientific legitimacy, with an insistent focus on what the data show. As a result, his colleagues in medical schools and hospitals all over the country trust him, honor his message, and continually invite him to share his insights with them. He has lectured all over the world, including major medical schools and hospitals in the United States --Harvard, Johns Hopkins, Cornell, the Universities of Pennsylvania, California, Washington, Texas, Florida, Minnesota, and the Mayo Clinic.
The impact of Dr. Dossey's work has been remarkable. Before his book Healing Words was published in 1993, only three U.S. medical schools had courses devoted to exploring the role of religious practice and prayer in health; currently, nearly 80 medical schools have instituted such courses, many of which utilize Dr. Dossey's works as textbooks. In his 1989 book Recovering the Soul, he introduced the concept of nonlocal mind -- mind unconfined to the brain and body, mind spread infinitely throughout space and time. Since then, nonlocal mind has been adopted by many leading scientists as an emerging image of consciousness. Dr. Dossey's ever-deepening explication of nonlocal mind provides a legitimate foundation for the merging of spirit and medicine. The ramifications of such a union are radical and call for no less than the reinvention of medicine.

Peter Wolf Toth Trail of the Whispering Giants
Peter Toth created 74 Whispering Giants all are in all 50 states 1 in Canada, and even one in Hungary. Interesting fact is that they all resemble natives of the region that they are located in. The basic tools he used to create these were a hammer and chisel...and on occasion he used a mallet and an axe. He rarely ever used power tools to create these beautiful pieces of art. I hope everyone will be able to find them and let me know more about them with either photos or through a video.

Trump Is 'Destroying' Regulations
The president's first year of slowing down regulations shattered previous records. But will politics and legislative inaction stall things from here?

Reason is the planet's leading source of news, politics, and culture from a libertarian perspective. Go to reason.com for a point of view you won't get from legacy media and old left-right opinion magazines.
-----
With his tariffs on aluminum and steel, family-separating crackdowns on nonviolent illegal immigrants, and authoritarian musings about executing drug dealers, President Donald Trump can be a libertarian's nightmare.
Except when it comes to regulatory reform.
The Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI), a Washington, D.C.-based free market think tank that focuses on the administrative state, tallied up the number of regulations in Trump's first year in office and found, This is the lowest count since records began being kept in the mid-1970s. CEI Vice President for Policy Clyde Wayne Crews told Reason that, I haven't seen personally anything like the regulatory reductions that have taken place.
What's producing these results? In part, the president's early executive orders mandating that with every new regulation two old ones get killed, and that the net imposed regulatory cost of each agency and department be zero. Trump has also appointed some real reformers to change the way the executive branch does business: Scott Gottlieb at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Ajit Pai at the Federal Communications Commission, Betsy DeVos at the Department of Education, and Rick Perry at the Department of Energy.
Chief among the anti-bureaucratic bureaucrats is Neomi Rao, administrator of the obscure-sounding but important Office for Regulatory Affairs (OIRA), which applies cost-benefit analyses to proposed regulation while making sure it still aligns with legislative intent. Rao, who came to the administration after founding the Center for the Study of the Administrative State at George Mason University's Antonin Scalia Law School, tells Reason that, We have done more in our first year than any president since we've been keeping records, which is back to Reagan.
President Trump appears genuinely enthusiastic about this push, talking up FDA reforms in both of his State of the Union addresses, and crowing at a December red-tape-cutting ceremony that, The never-ending growth of red tape in America has come to a sudden screeching and beautiful halt.
But Crews warns that a midterm will be much harder for Trump to navigate than the comparative honeymoon of 2017. I think in 2018, he's going to have a much tougher time meeting the goal, Crews said. When you're acting alone as president and you can't make law on your own, the barrier that you run into is you run out of low-hanging fruit.
