I had 5 minutes before the 5.34 train to Shoeburyness, and the thought occurred to me: Not many films of Upminster on You Tube!
This is the view from outside the c2c railway station at Upminster in Essex, England.
Hornchurch has a wonderful church with a tall spire, the 'international' viewers may like to know that there is a 'war grave' there, where amongst various British and Commonwealth airman there also lies the American pilot, Sanders-Draper, killed whilst flying a Spitfire in the Royal Air Force.

WE ARE Festival was top class. For a festival that’s only been running since 2013, it is so established! WE ARE Festival takes place on the 122 acre former WW1 airfield in Upminster, Essex. Hands down one of the best things about the award winning dance and music festival is the space. You'll see from our video how much room there is to enjoy yourself with out having some silly skanks grind on your man. Or vice versa. Or if you like that sort of thing, just go to the girls toilet queue, that can always be an intimidating smush. One thing I really wish I did in advanced was book Club Class ‘posh loos’. Being sold out Saturday we made sure to get a wristband for the Sunday. We actually didn't realise they had ‘posh loos’ but would definitely recommend this purchase, especially now its camping and only at £10 per day or £17.50 for the weekend. Queuing for the loos is always going to be the annoying thing about any festival, however queuing to get into We ARE (general admission) was easy. So that was really a nice bonus. We even had a problem loading one of our tickets, as the Internet connection is shocking. So take it from us, save that ticket in your phone beforehand because you’ll not always get such a nice steward, for him just to take our word and let us through. SOUND. One thing that came to light reading other people’s reviews was VIP. Apparently people didn’t feel too special, with longer queues than general admission and the loos not being up to standards. I can’t join in on the discussion as we had general admission, however is VIP ever worth it when the festival is so good anyway. I felt like a VIP in my own right, paying a little extra for Club Class, space to dance, you never felt far away from the stage as the music quality was insane and lets be honest I think the only thing I’d pay extra for would be to leave the festival once it shuts down. F*** me, it wasn't as bad as 2015 but it was still pretty mad. WE ARE Festival has always struggled getting people out of the festival due to it being in the middle of nowhere and small country roads leading out to the nearest town. But lets not dwell on what they've taken action against, because you now can camp! SO JEALOUS. After them announcing it would be a camping festival I knew the biggest regret of 2017 was not getting myself a ticket. If you like house or techno this is the festival for you, the line up in huge and you 100% get your money’s worth. If you happen to be a fan of Defected like us, then this is definitely the festival for you. WOW. RaveStation gives an 8 out of 10!

Five Important Things To Know About WE ARE Festival
1. You’ll be lucky to get any signal
2. You will loose someone
3. Be organised, book taxi in advanced (obviously that’s not for way home, as anyone will nick your taxi at the end of the night)
4. Defected tent is LIT
5. You can buy your drink tokens in advanced (I WOULD) but you will notice tokens are per day. Somehow we managed to talk to the right person as ours were all for the first day and get our changed but you might not be as lucky.

My Summer Festivals 2019 - Part 1

Here's a video, divided in Part 1 & 2 cause of YouTube limitations, of my summer 2019, I know it could have been a lot better, but I'm not an editor nor a patient man, unfortunately.
Nevertheless, I tried to choose the best moments of this amazing summer, and it was difficult because each and every moment were special and intense, with some funny moments too.
I know you won't feel what I felt but I hope you will feel and get something by watching it, you probably know it's something you really understand only by directly living it, I hope u will enjoy it anyway.

Sharing and experiencing several emotions/feelings, the ambience, the warmness, the closeness with random people who also had a passion for House Music, will be in my opinion the best memory I will ever have.
After a really bad year, I needed a break, and going to these festivals, dancing with these people, and sharing this passion with them, has been the best therapy I could choose.
