At this edition we'll be introducing you our first created identity event OXYTOCIN on Saturday May 30th located at a hidden carpark behind the The Brightside.
The concept of OXYTOCIN is all about bringing different groups of people together to receive communication from the universal language that we all know and love as house & techno.
OXYTOCIN is a mammalian hormone that also acts as a neurotransmitter in the brain.
In humans, OXYTOCIN is thought to be released during hugging, touching, and orgasm in both sexes. In the brain, OXYTOCIN is involved in social recognition and bonding, and may be involved in the formation of trust between people and generosity.

Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Australian double bass player, singer, composer and bandleader Georgia Weber .. Teamed up with her trio The Sleeved Hearts – she is geared up to release their new album, Keeping It Real. Combining experimental jazz with pop-punk and indie rock influences, the Australian-born artist mixes traditional jazz with modern creativity, the quirky with the beautiful on their 14-track album, due out on October 4th. The first single from the album, House in Just My Name will hit all digital streaming sites on May 24th.After graduating with her Bachelor in Jazz Double Bass Performance from Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University, she fronted a pop-punk band in Brisbane. From there, she moved to New York City in 2013 where she has performed and recorded with many artists and learned from the likes of the legend Ron Carter .. A passionate and dedicated musician, Georgia Weber describes herself as “married to her bass”. Her affinity to her instrument, style and genre has been inspired by jazz luminaries Scott LaFaro and Charlie Haden. A musical open-mindedness allowed Weber to develop a unique sound, which has painted the lower register for some of the world’s most renowned jazz artists.
Weber graduated with a bachelor in Jazz Double Bass Performance from Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University, Australia, in 2004. She worked in Brisbane Australia as a performer, session musician and teacher until moving to Melbourne, Australia in 2010. Here, she fronted pop-punk outfit A Date With Apathy.
Weber resided in Melbourne for three years where she performed most significantly with the contemporary jazz group, Ben Carr Trio. This trio explores the amalgamation of free form group improvisation, odd time meter grooves and swing.
Weber moved to New York City in March 2013 where she continues to perform and record with artists such as Post Modern Jukebox's Robyn Adele, established comic and jazz vocalist Camille Harris, Subjects of The Queen, The Morning Sea and her own trio, Georgia Weber and The Sleeved Hearts. Weber was a finalist in the 2015 Australian National Jazz Awards.

Surf Lakes - Australia’s First Surfing Wave Pool
Sitting in the middle of this manmade lake in Queensland Australia, sits a giant machine that creates waves designed for surfing.
Using compressed air, it’s pushed upwards, when dropped, it’s shape displaces a perfect ring of water that travels outwards, until hitting several manmade reefs, creating different height surfing waves.
Visitors can choose between 5 different areas and wave types, such as a gentle rolling waves for beginner surfers, all the way up to fast and demanding waves for expert and pro surfers, they even have waves specifically design for bodyborders.
According to Surf lakes, the system allows for up to 200 surfers and learners each hour. It's the largest surf lagoon on the planet with its 80 megaliters of water volume.
