Construction on US 27 and 192 near Davenport Florida 7th May 2015
The many years of construction along Florida's 192 is gathering speed. It's good to see construction happening, but I hope there is the infrastructure to support the changes. Not keen on the cement walls that are springing up along the once tree-lined highway.
Citrus Boulevard (US Highway 27, Florida 1965)
This film provides a look at Highway 27 on the way to Miami. Viewers see: Silver Springs; Leesburg; the Citrus Tower with high scenic vistas of orange groves; and an amphibious vehicle. A model swipes an orange from a tree in the Governor's Grove where each tree, belongs to a state governor. The film shows a citrus stand and Cypress Gardens (old LEGOLAND), with a great shot of tourists and their movie cameras. Viewers also see Bok Tower, and a majorette twirling in front of a store. There are good shots halfway through the film of a convertible with models on the highway. Produced by Guided Tours. For more old videos like this goto:

Cheap Trick
Cheap Trick is an American rock band from Rockford, Illinois, formed in 1973.
