Fowler 0-4-0 loco 'Wee Georgie Wood' TAS
Here's the delightful little well tank Fowler 0-4-0 loco 'Wee Georgie Wood'. This loco provided the only transport link with the outside world for the North Mt Farrell mining co & the town of Tullah on the rugged west coast of Tasmania, Australia until the early 1960's. The line was eventually submerged by a hydro electric scheme dam. A section of the original line behind the town was restored and operates today.
