Weligama beach, Weligama, Sri Lanka.
Weligama is a town on the south coast of Sri Lanka. It is popular tourist destination and hosts several boutique hotels. The name Weligama itself, in Sinhala, means `Sandy Village’ which is a direct reference to the sandy bay beach in the town.
Weligama beach is famous for its stilt fishermen. In chest-deep water on the beach, just a few meters off-shore, are the stilt fishermen perched on a cross bar fixed on a single pole planted into the sea-bed.

Wow, what a day in Weligama! This town on the south coast of Sri Lanka is famous for surfing. So we went on a mission to find big waves but also... big snakes! And what better way to get over our fear of snakes then to get up close with a highly venomous cobra? Would you ever do this? Watch the vlog and let us what you think!
We highly recommend the place where we got educated on the snakes as it has been in the same family for 100 years. They catch dangerous snakes in places where they don't belong and release later into the national parks of Sri Lanka, to us they are heroes! MIRISSA, SRI LANKA - THE END OF THE SOUTH COAST | VLOG #35
Mirissa is one of the most popular beach towns of Sri Lanka, mostly for activities such as Mirissa beach, whale watching dolphin watching. As usual we went out looking for less touristy spots and actually found a beautiful spot called Secret Beach. We also went to explore the main beach of Mirissa and shine some light on the 'boobs' and 'ass' shape of that. You'll see in the video what we mean with that. ????

The Surfer Beach Camp situated just in front of a great beginner breaks that will get you up and ripping in no time, If you have in mind to have the perfect beach holiday and the waves breaking just meters away, this is it.
Weligama Beach Clean Sri Lanka
Every week we arrange beach cleanups with our crew and guests around the world, but this time our social host in Sri Lanka, Marthe Muriel, took it to the next level. She brought several surf camps and locals together for one massive cleanup, resulting in more than 1 TONNE of plastic removed from our local beach. HUGE HIGH FIVES from all corners of the world to all the awesome people who helped out.
