Its a part of Wyndham city council. Long the way to the beach you will find vegetables farm: lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower, fennel, artichoke. 70% of Australia’s lettuces are sourced from Werribee South.

Long time ago this area has named by letters, A to Z. But it has been changed by Wyndham city council, and only K Road is still remaining till now.

Only 40 km from Melbourne CBD, it takes probably around 40 mins driving.

Please be noticed that no restaurant or coffee shop around here. If you assume that you will be hungry when you enjoy the sunset, better you buy some food at Werribee City beforehand.

Only 11 km away from Werribee City and you can take exit at Princes Highway (from Melbourne CBD). But if you want to straight up to the beach, please take Exit 19 onto C108, than turn left at Duncans Rd.

Kayak Fishing at Werribee South with Alan Bonnici & Mark Moseley. The guys from FishingMad land 5 target species large flathead, pinkies, gummy shark, whiting & snook. We also landed a few pest species in toadies and rays. This was a great way to test out the new Savage Gear range of rods and reels including the Black savage spin rod, new stealth reels and the MPP2 rods with Black series reel. The fish of the days was an awesome 58cm Flathead taken on a soft plastic.
