2011, April 28th. The walk from East Angle Bay to Pwllcrochan follows the southern shore of the Milford Haven Waterway through a curious mix of beautiful scenery and maritime industry, through shady shoreline bluebell woods to the reedy marsh at Pwllcrochan.
This was filmed midweek between 4 public holidays in 11 days - a busy time in a holiday area, but on this stretch of the Pembrokeshire Coast we encountered 2 other people the whole day long

Following the Pembrokeshire Coast Path / Wales Coast Path from West Dale Bay to the beach at Marloes, then on along the cliffs, overlooking the island of Skomer with its' Marine Nature Reserve (MNR). At Martins Haven we visit the Skomer MNR Display Centre, before continuing to Wooltack Point, where the view takes in the nearby islands of Skomer and Skokholm, and seals can be spotted on the pebbly beaches below

Marloes is a village in Pembrokeshire, West Wales.
It is situated on the Marloes Peninsula 11 km west of the port of Milford Haven and forms the westernmost tip of the southern shore of St Brides Bay. It is within part of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The parish has 10 km of mainland coastline accessible throughout by the Pembrokeshire Coast Path.
It also includes the island of Skomer, accessible from Martin's Haven at the tip of the peninsula, and the small islands of Grassholm and Gateholm. The parish, together with St Brides, constitutes the community of Marloes and St Brides (population 323 in 2001).
The name appears to derive from Old Welsh mail = bare and ros = moor or promontory, identical to Melrose in Scotland. It is locally pronounced Marlas. Part of Little England beyond Wales, it has been essentially English-speaking for 900 years.
The beach (on Marloes Bay south of the village) is rated as one of the best beaches in Britain but involves a fairly long walk to reach it. There is excellent car parking that is free to National Trust Members. The National Trust owns the western half of the peninsula, including the open-access deer park on its western tip, which is a favourite area for picnicking and viewing the wildlife of Skomer Sound, including seals, choughs and puffins. The deer park was originally part of the Kensington estate of St Brides.

England is a part of the United Kingdom. Its capital is London. Its official language is English. The people are also called English. If anyone from other nations speaks English as their 1st language, they will not be called English. They can be American, Australian or New Zealander but not English. They can also be called English speaking people.
England shares land borders with Scotland and Wales. The Irish Sea lies northwest of England and the Celtic Sea lies to the southwest. England is separated from continental Europe by the North Sea to the east and the English Channel to the south. The country covers five-eighths of the island of Great Britain, which lies in the North Atlantic, and includes over 100 smaller islands, such as the Isles of Scilly and the Isle of Wight.
The area now called England was first inhabited by modern humans during the Upper Palaeolithic period, but takes its name from the Angles, a Germanic tribe deriving its name from the Anglia peninsula, who settled during the 5th and 6th centuries. England became a unified state in the 10th century, and since the Age of Discovery, which began during the 15th century, has had a significant cultural and legal impact on the wider world. The name England is derived from the Old English name Englaland, which means land of the Angles. The Angles were one of the Germanic tribes that settled in Great Britain during the Early Middle Ages. The Angles came from the Anglia (Angeln) peninsula in the Bay of Kiel area (present-day German state of Schleswig–Holstein) of the Baltic Sea.
An alternative name for England is Albion. The name Albion originally referred to the entire island of Great Britain. The nominally earliest record of the name appears in the Aristotelian Corpus, specifically the 4th century BC De Mundo: Beyond the Pillars of Hercules is the ocean that flows round the earth. In it are two very large islands called Britannia; these are Albion and Ierne. But modern scholarly consensus ascribes De Mundo not to Aristotle but to Pseudo-Aristotle, that is, it was written later in the Graeco-Romanperiod or afterwards.
