We saw lots of little creatures as well. The staff Tilly, Collin and Elliot just to name a few were great at pointing out some macro creatures.
We loved diving with them.

Light House Point is a great place to shore dive in West Bay, Grand Cayman. We did the dive and lunch special and it was well worth it. Sitting at the little restaurant watching the ocean on a surface interval was awesome. The diving was fantastic!

CCMI ‘Festival of Seas’: a tribute by East End Primary 6th grade students
This video was made to shown at the Festival of Seas 2015, the local fundraiser for the Central Caribbean Marine Institute, after 11 years for the first time at the Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands.
The video got people smiling, laughing, singing and made them even more generous during the silent and live auction.
Happy to have contributed to the joy of the children, teachers and cause.
The mini-production went very smooth thanks to the amazing on-set assistance of Brittainy Slade.
The filming was very well prepared thanks to the scripting and shot list by Ellen Cuylaerts.
In early September, 13 students in Audrey Leahong’s Year 6 class at East End Primary hopped aboard a Cayman Airways Express plane and headed for Little Cayman.
The class embarked on the sponsored trip to participate in the Central Caribbean Marine Institute Marine Ecology Course for Primary students.
Ms. Leahong reported that the students enjoyed the course.
The class took part in a wide range of activities that were, in her words, very relevant to the Cayman Islands, as they engaged in hands-on learning about protecting the islands’ shores and water from pollution.
The students also learned about noise pollution, which disturbs marine life. They encountered Little Cayman’s rock iguanas, which some of the students had not known about prior to the trip.
Ms. Leahong said a highlight for the class was meeting one-day-old baby turtles, and later that day participating in a turtle release at Preston Bay Beach.
She noted that some students were nervous as it was their first experience flying, and for many it was their first trip to Little Cayman.
Ms. Leahong added that the students at East End Primary sing a lot, so they were asked to create a song for the Central Caribbean Marine Institute that they started composing in Little Cayman.
Ms. Leahong expressed thanks on behalf of the students to all the sponsors and the staff at CCMI. (source: Cayman Compass, November 13th 2015)

Episode 50: Great Wall West, Little Cayman
Great Wall West is another great dive site on the north side of Little Cayman. It is a huge underwater plateau on the edge of the Cayman trench. The top of the wall is flat at about 25-30 feet and when you get to the edge of the wall, it is a shear vertical drop to thousands of feet of depth! It is an impressive wall to see and there is a lot of great marine life on the wall as well as on top of it.
