Ep 97 Warners on Tour
Warners on Tour
We have just got back from our tour of the South West of England.
We managed to fit in so many places including Appledore, Widemouth Bay, Bude, Holsworthy, Noteworthy, St Austell, Pentewan, Mevagissey, Polkeriss, Plymouth, Totnes and Burnham on Sea.
We can’t wait to go back because there is SO much more to see.
Our highlight of the week was a visit to Fletchers Restaurant in Plymouth.
Welcome to A Life Full of Meaning. We sold our house and got rid of all our possessions. We currently live on a narrowboat called Nutshell and we are trying to create a more meaningful life. We love spending time with our family, including our six grandchildren.
Our video is not exclusively a 'narrowboat channel', it is a weekly vlog of our life, on and off-board Nutshell, which we love sharing with our friends and family.
If you are looking for great narrowboat channels can we suggest you visit

Hunting down the WITCHES of Devon
Visiting Exeter in the county of Devon on the trail of three women from Bideford. The three went down in the history books in 1682, when they became the last women in England. to be hanged for witchcraft.
The unfortunate Women were Temperance Lloyd, Susanna Edwards and Mary Trembles. All lived in Bideford although little is known about them beyond their arrests, trial and execution.
The women were tried at the assizes of Exeter Castle. All three pleaded not guilty. They were Hanged at Heavitree, just outside the city.
The port of north Devon coast at the time was a trade route to Newfoundland and Virginia and its Believed that the women were victims of hatred and ignorance.
Before they were hanged they were granted a request to sing part of the Psalm 40. Possibly they chose it for the following appropriate lines:
'For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so I am not able to look, they are more then the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart faileth me.'
