English - Route 24 from North Balwyn in a C1 class tram during the weekday AM peak. Before it was discontinued, route 24 ran as a weekday peak service only. In the morning from North Balwyn to the Ciy via Victoria snd Latrobe Streets and in the opposite direction during the afternoon.
The service qas discontinued in July 2014 when a restructure of the Melbourne Tram Network took place.

Australian Coastal Home Reveals Dynamic Façade
This coastal home in Australia was envisioned by Coy Yiontis Architects for an older couple with a soft spot for traveling. A friendly getaway for visiting grandchildren and friends, the residence was planned as a haven between adventures. Its layout offers both social and private living spaces, as well as an optimum connection with the outdoors.
“Screening from western neighbors and the need for the home to sit at a single level across a sloping site dictated the form of the building,” the architects said. “Building form was driven by site conditions and the need for accessibility; the resulting dynamic façade and dramatic internal volumes belie its livability.”
Living spaces are oriented towards the north and cross ventilated. Bedrooms are oriented to the east to capture the morning sun. “Consideration of the clients aging comfortably in place determined that there should be no steps in the home,” the architects added.
“Internal spaces and garden are at one continuous level and the resulting terraced garden at the rear of the sloping site provides ease of maintenance and an abundance of vegetables.” Inside, white walls provide a clean backdrop for the furniture items and decoration.

Sky Rail Melbourne - Murrumbeena Station & Carnegie Station Day 1 - Australian Trainspotting
English - Skyrail Melbourne - Murrumbeena and Carnegie Stations day one operations as new Sky Rail Stations!
As a part of the Victorian Government's committment to remove 50 level crossings here in Melbourne, the Level Crossing Removal Authority opened a further 3 kilmetres of Skyrail on the Public Transport Victoria (PTV) and Metro Trains Melbourne Pakenham and Cranbourne Lines. This in turn removed a number of level crossings at ground level along this section of railway line.
This section of Skyrail includes the section between Caulfield and Oakleigh Stations. Skyrail Stations in this section include Carnegie, Murrumbeena and Hughesdale. As you will see in the presentation, the Sky Rail may have been completed and Carnegie and Murrumbeena Stations maybe open for business but there is still a lot of work to do before the stations are fully operational and accessible. At the moment a set of temporary stairs gives access to the stations, with lifts and escalators following in a few months. Hughesdale Station as you can see from the view at Murrumbeena Station is still under construction and will open at a later date.
Here is a presentation featuring day one operations of the new Skyrail section. Featured are Murrumbeena and Carnegie and a window view of Sky Rail between Carnegie and Caulfield.

It takes about 8 minutes to wash a C2 Citadis which is around 33 metres in length. The view you see here is the front half of the tram being washed. The same process is repeated for the back half in reverse.
