Wandering Walk through Watkins Mill State Park
This week's video is a Wandering Walk through Watkins Mill State Park and Historic site in Lawson, MO.
Stepping on to the grounds of Watkins Woolen Mill State Historic Site is like stepping into 19th century. Many of the buildings that Waltus Watkins spent half a century building – including an elegant home and a three-story woolen mill – have been preserved to give walkers a sense of life in the 1870s. The mill is the only 19th century textile mill in the United States with its original machinery still intact.
Throughout the park are beautiful trails along streams and great views of a gorgeous lake.

Johnson Shut-ins - Walk in Campsites - Missouri State Parks
I shot a panoramic view of the walk-in camp site we stayed in at the Johnson shut ins state park. Located in the Ozark Mountains the Shut Ins is great place to swim and hike. Whippoorwills sing you to sleep at night. The camp ground provided a cart to help move your gear in if needed. Taum Sauk and Elephant Rocks are near by. This is a stop on the Ozarks Trail system. Please subscribe so youtube will love me.

Trip to Branson and even more! | 2011 | 2 of 12 | Back | Missouri/Iowa border to a Roadside park
Starting out around the Missouri/Iowa border on U.S. 59 we go to Tarkio, MO. From there we take Eastbound U.S. 136 to Burlington Station to pick up U.S.71. The 2 routes go to Maryville. After stopping at a little park we keep East on U.S. 136/MO 46 to Ravenwood due to a detour. On MO O the inverter worked loose and I lost some video. Recovered on Gentry Nordaway Road before keeping on O to MO B. Took MO B back to U.S. 136/169. We head East to a roadside park where this segment ends.

This series of videos chronicles my travels through the states of Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas and Nebraska as filmed in Mid June of 2011. The video is in real time as time lapse, while cool, is distracting and takes away from the real beauty of this wonderful country. Please be aware the original audio was striped away (was Sirius XM Satellite Radio) due to copyright concerns.
The video is very long. If you like it please leave a comment. If you like the channel, subscribe to it. If you have a comment, question, concern or criticism that offers advice, please leave it (it has to be okayed by me before being published), if you plan on leaving a smart-ass remark (like one one made by X1yoyo1X: I watched the whole thing. NOT :D )it will not be published and you'll be blocked!
