Is this how the world ends? With a whimper or a bang? Andrew Titus lives in that world. Winter never seems to end and human society is starting to unravel. After years of global turmoil, the world's big problems have finally shown up at his front door. Facing the recent death of his eldest son and the possible starvation of his family Andy is face with difficult choices. Everyone around him is falling into a state of lawlesness, waylaying travellers for food and supplies. Andy refuses to believe that this is the only path for his family.
And then on one chilly, July afternoon fate drives through a trap set by the bandits in his subdivision. A simple attempt at highway robbery turns into a conflict with a military convoy carrying a mysterious and dangerous cargo. The entire convoy, led by a mysterious man in a specialized hazmat suit is carrying just two boxes. The bandits open one.
In an instant a force is unleashed that transforms the entire community around Andy. Now he will be challenged with even more tribulations. Now he must fight to save his family from this force that threatens to engulf the whole world.
It is a narrow, hard path that he must run - not walk. Pursued by the shambling creatures that used to be his neighbors, will Andy's dark, cold night bring him through to a new dawn or will it consume him?

Romeo Michigan 1868 Panoramic Bird's Eye View Map 6549
Panoramic Maps, also known as Bird's Eye View, aerial view, or perspective maps. These were a popular form of art at the turn of the 20th century depicting a city's key points of interest.
Unlike traditional maps, Panoramic maps often highlighted the commercial aspects of a town, while also clearly showing many local residences.
I've had a lot fun looking up places I've been to on these maps -- and I've gotta say - It's amazing just how much things change -- and also how much things stay the same.
