Whale Watching in Mirissa, Sri Lanka // WE SAW A BLUE WHALE!
Whale watching in Mirissa was by far one of the most incredible activities I did while in Sri Lanka.
I've done whale watching in South Africa before but this trip was much better as we saw SO MANY WHALES! From pilot whales to two massive blue whales, biggest mammals on earth, even bigger than our boat. It was a truly exciting whale watching trip and is also super cheap at only $30 per person.

TRINCOMALEE - SNORKELLING AT PIGEON ISLAND & Dolphin & Whale Watching | Sri Lanka Vlog 2
Trincomalee on Sri Lanka's East Coast is a really unique place to visit! I stayed for 2 nights in Uppuveli instead of Nilaveli as I heard the beach is nicer and it's quieter and I found it to have a nice beach and be very quiet!
One of the most popular things to do in Trincomalee is to go Whale Watching, it wasn't the season for Whale sightings as the main season is February to April however I was told there were Dolphins around so I went on a sunrise Dolphin watching trip, to my delight I did see the spray of a whale although I didn't see it properly!
Later that day I headed to Pigeon island in Trincomalee, this is another popular activity in Trincomalee because the snorkelling around here is good. Although it was really busy with lots of boats and tourists there I did see turtles and a shark which was amazing!
This was a really good way to spend one day in Trincomalee and Uppuveli!
I only stayed 2 nights in Trincomalee as I found it pretty quiet and the weather wasn't great and afterwards I headed to Arugam Bay!

MIRISSA SRI LANKA | Whale Watching | Jetski | Beach Party

Bentota Beach Sri Lanka Part 1 Boat Tour | Tuktuk | Baby Crocodile | Buddha | Mangrove | Quiet town
One of the top places to visit in Sri Lanka, it is just 100 kms south of Colombo Airport. It is a quiet beach town compared to other touristy spots. There are many activities - extreme sports, paramotoring, jet-skiing, parasailing, river boat tour, crocodile petting, etc. to choose from when you are there.
January is the best time to visit South West Sri Lanka.
Sri Lanka has an amazing infrastructure in terms of roads, public transport, super new and clean tuk tuks or auto rickshaws and super friendly people.
In this video, I show Palm Beach Inn and Sea Shells Cabanas Hotel where I stayed. I took a tuk tuk to explore the city and ended up taking a 2 hour boat tour from Lagoon Bentota hotel to explore the Bentota Ganga river.
During the tour, we went inside the mangrove forests. I got a chance to pet a baby crocodile about 3 months or so old. There is a sitting white Buddha to visit here as well.

I SAW A LEOPOARD AND 5 BLUE WHALES | Sri Lanka Vlog
In January of 2019, my family and I travelled back to Mum's birth country Sri Lanka. This was a trip full of beautiful landscapes, family and friends, and wonderful memories I will never forget.
We travelled from Colombo through Anuradhapura, to Dambulla, to Kandy, to Nuwara Eliya, then took the train to Ella, down to Yala and finally stopped at Galle. We did safaris, temples, had great food, stayed at amazing hotels, had cultural experiences and heaps more...

Yala National Park - Pride of Sri Lanka
Located 260 km South East of Colombo, Yala is the most popular of the many National Parks of the country. Though the official website of Yala claims that the density of leopards here is the highest in the world, it is not at all easy to sight one. If you are lucky enough, you will be able to see a leopard. There are Sloth Bears also in this park, but we could not see even one during our four full days' safari in the park
