Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, UK - 30th & 31st August, 2012
High definition video footage taken in and around the West Yorkshire Pennine town of Hebden Bridge. The video begins at a rainy Hebden Bridge railway station with a number of arriving and departing services. It then features views outside the station of the River Calder, before going into Calder Holmes Park for views of the river, Rochdale Canal, Skate Park and graffiti. The video features a great deal of traditional Yorkshire sandstone buildings, and Victorian architecture. Also featured are the following: the dry dock, the now closed Railway pub and Moyles hotel / restaurant, the Picture House, New Road (the A646), The River Hebden, The Trades Club, The Rochdale Canal with its bridges and locks, the aquaduct where the canal crosses the River Calder, the confluence of the Rivers Hebden and Calder, b@r place, Crown Street, the main square with fustian needle statue, the Shoulder of Mutton pub, Bridge Gate, Hebden Old Bridge - the stone pack-horse bridge over the River Hebden from which Hebden Bridge gets its name, the White Swan pub, the Hole in't Wall pub, Royd Terrace, and various scenes around the whole of the town centre, including the after effects of the flooding on shops, many of which are not open, as well as the river which has been dredged leaving huge piles of stones on the islands within it.
The weir of the River Hebden is featured from several angles, including from above on the A6033 Keighley Road, from here there are also views over the Hebden Valley including many examples of unique Calderdale architecture, Nutclough Tavern, Foster Lane, Lees Road, the Old Post Office, Lee Mill Road, Rydal Mount and then down the old stone steps to Foster Lane and down Windsor Road to Victoria Road, passing the play park, Nutclough Mill, Waterside Fold, Moss Lane, Linden Road, Hangingroyd Lane, the Market place, the newly developed Town Hall and finally at the Millennium Clock.

Flooding 26th Dec 2015, over the years I have seen much more water than this, and not related to global warming !!, more industry change that's the cause and dumping into rivers,
Look at the rivers now, many trees growing in the river, in all sections, the river has been a dumping place for waste, bricks and stone rubbish, that's made the river shallow,
