The Old English Black
What color was the Old English Black? Surprisingly, not always black—many individuals of this breed were actually bay or brown. This equine had its roots in the Norman Conquest, in 1066, when European horses brought by William the Conqueror's armies interbred with English mares.
(The Old English Black is sometimes confused with the Lincolnshire Black, a breed of Dutch horse imported to England in the 17th century by King William III.) According to at least one horse genealogist, the now-extinct Old English Black developed into the Black Horse of Leicestershire, which itself developed into the Dark Horse of the Midlands, which today is survived by modern Clydesdales and Shires.

Faringdon folly A Quad Copter film
The last Folly to be built in England.
It was a beautiful evening with the sun casting long shadows and not a breath of wind, so ideal conditions for a flight.
The folly on Folly Hill was designed by Gerald Wellesley, Marquess of Douro for Lord Berners and built in 1935. It is 140 feet (43 m) high and affords panoramic views of the Vale of White Horse. During the Second World War the Home Guard used it as an observation post. In 1982 Robert Heber-Percy restored it and gave it to the town in trust. It has been a Grade II Listed Building since 1986
The folly stands on the site of an old castle and also a Cromwellian gun emplacement.
The trees surrounding the Folly were planted by Henry James Pye who was Poet Laureate from 1790 until his death. He wrote the lyrics to the rhyme Sing a song of sixpence

2011 crop circle playlist
CHeck this out. I went to honey street crop circle and said we need a crop circle at milk hill and the next one appeared there. I went to milk hill with my copper double spiral necklace and said it would be nice to have a crop circle at windmill hill and one appeared in the shape of my necklace. I went to kennet, roundway hill, windmill hill on sunday and the next day more crop circles appeared at all these three places. I also said it would be nice to have a crop circle appear under the white horse/obelisk as i'd never seen one there and last night one appeared there of an alien smoking a pipe. WTF!!!!!!

The first big snow of winter brings both excitement and chaos; and in 1920s newsreels it prompted reports filled with smiling sledgers just as it does on today's TV. Here, though, the freshly-ploughed streets are filled not with creeping cars but with whizzing toboggans. The story title refers to ASM Hutchinson's hugely popular 1921 novel, If Winter Comes, filmed in 1923 and again in 1947.
