After the crazy wind storm in White Rock, BC. 2018
A cluster of boats broke off and pounded the pier, eventually busting threw taking a chunk of pier with them. It appears 4 boats under water and 2 more washed up on shore with the pier sections.
Walking at White Rock Pier
This beautiful little seaside city is definitely one of the gems of the lower mainland. Lined with cozy coffee shops, ice cream shops, and restaurants. It was such a breathtaking experience. The sun was shining which made our walk around the area a lot nicer. It was also very clean. Beautiful all year round!
White Rock Sea Lions - Anchovy Feeding Frenzy
Out for a walk today (Dec 29, 2019) along the White Rock Pier and we heard a thousand seabirds and a pod of sea lions raising hell. It seems a phenomenal number of northern anchovies made their way to the West Coast. The seal lions were gobbling up the fishy treats and the seagulls were dive-bombing them. Made for some great entertainment!
