American Military Museum in South El Monte California World War II and Vietnam equipment
This is a cool museum across the street from Whittier Narrows Recreational Park at Rosmead just before Rush St. I think that this is a really nice museum to go to for Veterans and History nerds who are into military equipment of the World War 2 era, and the Vietnam era. Take a Veteran and have them share with you their experience with these Sherman Tanks, Choppers, Jeeps, Ambulances, missiles, Boats etc...The price is $5 per adult, $3 for Juniors 12-17, Free for under $5, and I believe it was $1 for kids 5-11 years old as of October 2017. If you read this in the future, the price may have gone up. I have been passing this museum everyday when I would take my son to the batting cages and I kept telling myself that I needed to stop by and check it out until I finally did. It was worth the price of admission. Enjoy this video and please share your own personal or family member's history regarding the war. Also leave a comment and feel free to share.
