HSV Owners Club Run to Bobs Shed Quirindi NSW
The HSV Owners Club of NSW weekend away cruise to Quirindi and Bob's Shed in May 2013. Leaving Thornleigh the first stop was at Warnervale for some Central Coast members to join us and then on to lunch at Quirindi via Cessnock. From there we went to the Rail Museum at Werris Creek and back to Quirindi to catch the sunset from the Who'd A Thought It lookout overlooking the Liverpool plains. A tour of Bob's Shed followed with a BBQ dinner before retiring to our Motel rooms for the night. Breakfast of bacon and eggs the next morning at Bob's Shed followed by a trip out to the Quirindi Rural Heritage Village, lunch and the cruise back to Sydney. Two great days away and fantastic hospitality and value from Bob and Marilyn who looked on our club more as guests than customers - even welcoming us into their home so we could see the fantastic views from their back verandah. We would thoroughly recommend this trip, even to Ford fans :-).
Shine A Light(for the NSW North West)-Luke Vassella CSG song #11

Shine a light(for the NSW North West)
words and music by Luke Vassella
Core of my heart, my country
Like drums in my heart, an army
Power be to the peaceful
Strength be to the truthful
Wake up O sleeper, rise up O dreamer
Shine a light
Shine a light on the mining plan
Oh the stupidity of man
From Moree right across the Liverpool plains
Shine on the criminal corporate gains
And when they put you to the test
Shine on the NSW North West
Australia, it's time to rejoice
Shine a light, or lose your voice
Core of my heart, my country
Like drums in my heart, an army
Power be to the peaceful
Strength be to the truthful
Wake up O sleeper, rise up O dreamer
Shine a light
Shine a light for the struggling farmer
Who's gotta cope with the climate karma
Yes we're all gonna reap what we sow
For treating the earth like there's somewhere else to go
Shine a light on a merciless economy
Laying to waste a people and ecology
Shine on a culture of greed
Fuelled by addiction, not by need
Shine a light on Australia's dreaming
My country has wounds that need healing
