This is 12 minutes from my house. Shot in 4K with Dji Phantom 3 4K
First time test flight so I really wasn't concerned with the video as much as the performance of the drone so video is overexposed; nothing too drastic.

Alouette Lake, Maple Ridge, BC, Canada
Alouette Lake is a popular spot for swimming, windsurfing, water-skiing, canoeing, boating and fishing. The park also has three large campgrounds. Vegetation is typical of the coastal western Hemlock forest of B.C. and the mountainous back-country is extremely rugged.
As one of the largest parks in the province, Golden Ears Provincial Park is prized for its recreational opportunities. The extensive system of trails within the park provides an excellent opportunity for hiking and horseback riding.

A band of Whonnock residents are fighting a planned monster marijuana grow-op being created on agricultural land in their community. They claim lack of transparency, environmental concerns and also that there are 13 more applications being processed.

How to Catch Crappie Ice Fishing British Columbia - Whonnock Lake
Ice Fishing is not a typical activity in the Greater Vancouver are of British Columbia but this 2016/2017 winter season has been exceptionally cold and snowy for this area. Many lakes that never freeze or only freeze for short periods of time have been frozen for months. I headed out one evening to Whonnock Lake to check out the population of trout and crappie. The crappie were in shallow water 5-6 feet and very aggressive. Although they were quite small it was still fun to get out there on the ice and catch some fish. This is how it all went down.
