WHYTECLIFF PARK - West Vancouver
Whytecliff Park is located near West Vancouver's Horseshoe Bay Neighborhood, the original name of which was White Cliff City, which opened in 1909. In 1914, Colonel Albert Whyte pressed for the spelling change from White Cliff City to Whytecliff.

WHYTECLIFF PARK - A Beautiful GEM in West Vancouver
Whytecliff Park is a beautiful oceanside spot in West Vancouver. It is a popular place for a relaxing walk and also for scuba diving.
There are some short trails within the trees of Whytecliff Park and a few rugged paths along the cliffs above the water. However, a walk around Whytecliff Park doesn’t feel as if it qualifies as a ‘hike’.
That said, Whytecliff is a terrific place to spend some time near the water, catch a sunset, and enjoy the unbeatable coastal scenery. It is also a great place for family outings.

Check out the scenes and beauty of British Columbia, Canada. This is Horseshoe Bay in Vancouver (technically West Vancouver). Horseshoe Bay is a BC Ferry terminal stop located approximately 45 minutes away from Vancouver. The Horeshoe Bay ferry terminal is your gateway to some of the most beautiful islands British Columbia has to offer.
Shot mostly at Whytecliff Park, this amazing bit of nature is fun to climb and explore and is a nice short trip away from Vancouver. If you have time while you're waiting for the ferry..or just looking for a peaceful area by the sea..Horseshoe Bay's Whytecliff Park - this is the place to visit.

Whytecliff Park in West Vancouver is popular with divers, kayakers and relaxers. There is a rocky and sandy beach. At low tide an isthmus allows access to Whyte Island although care should be taken not to be caught by the incoming tide or chances are you will get your feet wet or more wet on the return journey. Divers enjoy the biodiversity and beginner divers are often trained here. The park includes a seasonal concession building, washrooms, covered and uncovered picnic areas and a playground. Parking is limited and this is a popular park.
