9 - Two brothers, one bike, one cab
Back in July 1975, newspapers on both sides of the Atlantic went nuts over the passing of 17-year-old Erskine Lawrence Ebbin. He unfortunately had been knocked off his moped by a taxi in Hamilton, Bermuda. Let’s be honest here, normally an event like this wouldn’t really make headlines, nor would it even really make it in a newspaper. But, the thing is, the same thing happened to his brother the previous year! Also by a taxi. Riding the same moped! And his brother was also 17 when it happened to him. And here’s the really crazy thing. The accidents happened on the same street! Did we mention this is crazy? Because now things are about to get really really crazy. The two brothers were hit by the same taxi, with the same driver, carrying… the same passenger!!! Was this fate or was this a coincidence? What do you think?! If you’re enjoying this video, do us a big favor, and hit that like button!
8 - Times Two
Identical twins James Arthur Springer and James Edward Lewis spent almost all of their first 39 years apart, until 1977 when they decided to meet. They were separated at birth and adopted by different families. But they both knew that they had a twin, although they never crossed paths after getting separated. However, they discovered that despite living completely separate lives, they had some pretty eerie similarities!
Both their adoptive parents gave them the name James. Both of them married and then divorced a woman named Linda. Their second wives were both named Betty. They both named their son James Alan! Both of them grew up with an adopted brother named Larry! Both twins had law enforcement training and had worked part-time as deputy sheriffs in their towns. Is this crazy enough for you yet?! They vacationed at the same beach in Florida. They both smoked heavily, and yep…...they both go by Jim! They shared many common interests, such as mechanical drawing and block lettering, and had similar habits! The twins even used similar words when they’re talking! The amazing thing is that they hadn’t seen each other in almost 40 years, so they had no chance to influence each other. Researchers decided to perform tests on them, and found that their medical histories, personality tests, and brain wave tests were almost all identical. So what do you think? Is this too good to be true or was this just a really good hoax?! Before we get to the next entry, here’s a quick quiz for you guys! What’s the world’s smallest mammal by mass? Is it A, they have the same phenotype. Or B, They started off as one ovum, or egg. Or C, They have the same thumbprint. Or is it D, They have the same DNA! The answer is later on in the video!
7 - Not a Photoshop
Michael Dick hadn’t seen his daughter Lisa for more than a decade, ever since he had separated from his first wife. All he knew was that they had moved to Sudbury, a town in England and that was about it. So back in 2010, he decided to take his two other daughters, Samantha and Shannon, to Sudbury to look for Lisa. Determined, Michael got in touch with the local paper and asked for help. A photographer from the paper snapped a picture of Michael, Samantha, and Shannon and put it in the paper along with the story of Michael’s mission. Amazingly enough, the photographer actually had taken a picture of ALL of Michael’s daughters in that one photo! How?! Because somehow, the daughter Michael was looking for was walking in the background when the picture was taken! His lost daughter Lisa spotted the photo of her dad in the newspaper but she also recognized herself and her mother in the background! She said that before she saw the picture, she had been thinking about her dad and actually was going to search for him as well!

SUMMARY
=======
Douglas MacArthur (26 January 1880 – 5 April 1964) was an American five-star general and Field Marshal of the Philippine Army. He was Chief of Staff of the United States Army during the 1930s and played a prominent role in the Pacific theater during World War II. He received the Medal of Honor for his service in the Philippines Campaign, which made him and his father Arthur MacArthur Jr. the first father and son to be awarded the medal. He was one of only five to rise to the rank of General of the Army in the US Army, and the only one conferred the rank of field marshal in the Philippine Army.
Raised in a military family in the American Old West, MacArthur was valedictorian at the West Texas Military Academy, and First Captain at the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he graduated top of the class of 1903. During the 1914 United States occupation of Veracruz, he conducted a reconnaissance mission, for which he was nominated for the Medal of Honor. In 1917, he was promoted from major to colonel and became chief of staff of the 42nd (Rainbow) Division. In the fighting on the Western Front during World War I, he rose to the rank of brigadier general, was again nominated for a Medal of Honor, and was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross twice and the Silver Star seven times.
From 1919 to 1922, MacArthur served as Superintendent of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, where he attempted a series of reforms. His next assignment was in the Philippines, where in 1924 he was instrumental in quelling the Philippine Scout Mutiny. In 1925, he became the Army's youngest major general. He served on the court martial of Brigadier General Billy Mitchell and was president of the American Olympic Committee during the 1928 Summer Olympics in Amsterdam. In 1930, he became Chief of Staff of the United States Army. As such, he was involved in the expulsion of the Bonus Army protesters from Washington, D.C. in 1932, and the establishment and organization of the Civilian Conservation Corps. He retired from the US Army in 1937 to become Military Advisor to the Commonwealth Government of the Philippines.
MacArthur was recalled to active duty in 1941 as commander of United States Army Forces in the Far East. A series of disasters followed, starting with the destruction of his air forces on 8 December 1941, and the invasion of the Philippines by the Japanese. MacArthur's forces were soon compelled to withdraw to Bataan, where they held out until May 1942. In March 1942, MacArthur, his family and his staff left nearby Corregidor Island in PT boats and escaped to Australia, where MacArthur became Supreme Commander, Southwest Pacific Area. Upon his arrival, MacArthur gave a speech in which he famously promised I shall return to the Philippines. After more than two years of fighting in the Pacific, he fulfilled that promise. For his defense of the Philippines, MacArthur was awarded the Medal of Honor. He officially accepted Japan's surrender on 2 September 1945 aboard USS Missouri anchored in Tokyo Bay, and oversaw the occupation of Japan from 1945 to 1951. As the effective ruler of Japan, he oversaw sweeping economic, political and social changes. He led the United Nations Command in the Korean War with initial success; however, the controversial invasion of North Korea provoked Chinese intervention. Following a series of major defeats he was removed from command by President Harry S. Truman on 11 April 1951. He later became chairman of the board of Remington Rand.
