The beautiful soundtrack is by 'We Don't Eat' by Irishman James Vincent McMorrow:
@Threadtherapy and I moved to New York City back in February of 2012. We were flat broke and didn't know a thing about the city. Over the past 7 years, we've learned so much about this amazing city and discovered our favorite restaurants, bars, and things to do in this city, and honestly are discovering more and more every day.
This VLOG is a compilation of our favorite moments from living in New York City for seven years. We moved from Manhattan to Brooklyn and since moving to NYC we never plan on leaving. The city is expensive, hectic, dirty, but also beautiful, inspiring and always offering you something new and exciting to do that makes us feel alive. Oh and the weather stinks in Winter.
// Moving to New York City Guide [New York VLOG]
When we first moved to NYC we lived next to City Hall, we found our building based on watching a Youtube video on New York by Gehry
At the time, we were drawn to the beauty of the building and had no idea what people were talking about when they talked about New York neighborhoods. We had been living in Florida our entire lives and didn't care about neighborhoods. We had a car, and if we wanted to go to a restaurant, bar or shopping we just hopped in a car and went.
In New York, you don't have a car, and are basically limited to a 4-5 block radius in any direction of available shops in your neighborhood. I remember in the City Centre we had no grocery store, no great restaurant, no bars, no good coffee shops, pretty much anything we wanted we had to take a cab or a subway, which really stunk.
Why did we live in Financial district? First of all, it was relatively affordable and they had a ton of new construction. You paid that low price because the 'hood stunk.
Luckily, the more we explored New York, we learned about neighborhoods and where we felt at home. They had amazing restaurants, bars, coffee shops and shopping all close-by. Also, the housing was affordable and offered tons of new construction. The neighborhood we love in New York City that has everything is Williamsburg.
// Williamsburg, Brooklyn City Guide
Having lived in Williamsburg BK for the past 5 years we've found some amazing bars and restaurants and these are our favorites:
Lilia - for the best pasta in the city
Maison Premiere - for amazing cocktails, absinthe and crab claws
Sweatshop - for Aussie coffee and yummy avocado toast
Llama Inn - Peruvian street food that's super delicious
Radegast - the bier garden that helped build Williamsburg in 2007
House of Small Wonder - they serve the best Okinawan taco rice (cash only)

NY Moore Hostel
NY Moore Hostel
179 Moore St.
Brooklyn, NYC
This Hostel is in a pretty decent location with places to eat and public transportation only steps away in East Williamsburg.
The Hostel itself was incredible, Large no its actually huge. The rooms are nice, Clean with comfy beds. The Hostel has all the amenities a traveler requires and a few extras!
The staff are friendly and super helpful with directions and recommendations, or advice.
One of the owners gave us a tour of the building to show us all the art done by amazing artists from all over the world. This is really something to see!! Every room, hallway, staircase....even the unexpected spots have beautiful murals painted on the walls.
He told us the stories behind each artist and their paintings and we were in awe.
This is a fairly inexpensive place to stay. We paid $65 USD for both of us for each night and had the room to ourselves with en suite bathroom.
It has 2 kitchens with cooking area, Free WIFI, Street Parking is Free, Lockers in rooms, 24 hour front desk, common areas, TV, computers and more...in a Safe Area.
We felt totally safe walking around the area at night in search of food.
When I return to NYC next year....This is where I will be staying again Absolutely!

⁴ᴷ⁶⁰ Walking NYC (Narrated) : Williamsburg, Brooklyn to Lower East Side, Manhattan
Google Maps Route:
I walk from Williamsburg, Brooklyn to the Lower East Side in Manhattan via Broadway and the Williamsburg Bridge.
From Wikipedia:
The Williamsburg Bridge is a suspension bridge in New York City across the East River connecting the Lower East Side of Manhattan at Delancey Street with the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn at Broadway near the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway (Interstate 278). It once carried New York State Route 27A and was planned to carry Interstate 78, though the planned I-78 designation was aborted by the cancellation of the Lower Manhattan Expressway and Bushwick Expressway.
The bridge is one of four toll-free crossings between Manhattan and Long Island. The others are the Queensboro, Manhattan, and Brooklyn Bridges.

Largest state park in New York City slated for Brooklyn
Governor Andrew Cuomo on Wednesday announced that the largest state park in New York City will fully open in Brooklyn in the summer of 2019.
The new 407-acre park will be named in honor of Shirley Chisholm, a Brooklyn-born trailblazer who was the first African-American Congresswoman and the first woman and African-American to run for President.

A look at: Brighton Beach, Brooklyn, New York, USA
Take a look at one of the most vibrant Russian communities outside of Russia.
Brighton Beach is a community on Coney Island in the borough of Brooklyn in New York City, USA
Located next to the famous Coney Island theme park, this place is like stepping into a time warp and still resembles what the Lower East Side used to look like.
Locally known as Little Odessa, the people here continue to carry on there daily lives as Russian citizens. Take a stroll down Brighton Beach Avenue and you will find Russian bakers, butchers, supermarkets, restaurants and is certainly an eye opener!
Riegelmann Broadwalk, located at the end of Coney Island Avenue stretches the length of Brighton Beach all the way to the theme park and is a pleasant walk past the beach, and looks across to the Gateway National Recreation Area.
The New York City Subway also runs a direct service on the Q Line and stops at Brighton Beach and Ocean Parkway stations. The subway line runs on an elevated track above the street, which makes it particularly loud!
Music is Nign performed by The Klezmatics.

BROOKLYN New York City Best Tour 2019 Landmarks Drone Video
Brooklyn is home to more than 2.5 million residents, making it America’s most densely-populated county (Kings County). If it alone were a city, it would be the third largest in the US, behind LA And Chicago. It is also the country’s most diverse county by race, ethnicity and religion, which may explain its city motto ‘unity makes strength’.
Numerous Native American peoples have roots in this northeastern land; but no historical record allows us to definitely state a claim. The Dutch first settled here in 1645 and they continued to expand after the Anglo-Dutch war of 1664 ended with the English claiming the colonies as their own.
In Brooklyn, the first and largest battle of the American Revolutionary War was fought on August 27, 1776. In the Battle of Brooklyn, George Washington led the Continental Army across modern day Green-Wood Cemetery and Prospect Park. A tactical withdrawal was made through Brooklyn Heights, ceding the city to the English.
Today, Brooklyn is home to some of the most iconic sites in the United States. In this video, you see: the Brooklyn Bridge, Prospect Park, the Prospect Park Zoo, Brooklyn Public Library, Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn Botanical Garden, Barclays Center, and Brooklyn Heights Promenade.
Coney Island is another incredible place in Brooklyn. To see an awesome video of that world-famous location, click here:
