Personal life
Williamson was born in Salisbury, North Carolina to Lateef Williamson and Sharonda Sampson. Lateef was a football defensive lineman who earned All-American honors at Mayo High School in Darlington, South Carolina and had committed to NC State before transferring to Livingstone College. Sampson was a sprinter at Livingstone and became a middle school health and physical education teacher. She named Williamson after the biblical location Mount Zion near Jerusalem, taking her grandmother's advice to name him something extra special. When Williamson reached two years of age, following the death of his maternal grandmother, his family moved to Florence, South Carolina. By the time he was five years old, his parents divorced, and his mother married Lee Anderson, a former Clemson basketball player. Williamson has a younger brother, Noah, who is about 13 years his junior.

When you see Zion, his build and how athletic he is, the first question that comes to mind is. What on God's earth were his parents feeding em, Zion’s freakish size is a result of genetics. Both his parents were former athletes, his father Lateef Williamson was 6’4 270lbs defensive linemen, high school all American at Darlington high who played college football at North Carolina State in the 90’s. Zion’s mother, Sharonda Sampson ran track at Livingstone college and when her sprinting days have overpursued a career in health and physical education while teaching in middle school. It’s worth mentioning his parents have since divorced, but Zion is a hybrid of his parent's expertise and athletic gifts, combining the size, power, and strength of his father with his mother’s speed and agility. All of which makes up the DNA of the physical showman we see today. Williamson is that incredible of an athlete that even with raw basketball ability and little dedication could still make a career in the sport. Include those factors and we have Zion the man-child we know him to be.
Moving onto our second fact which involves his first name, Zion. His parents named him after an ancient mountain in Jerusalem of significant importance in Christianity – Mount Zion. The one word and know name I guess occur in the Bible over 150 times. It’s described as both the city of David and the city of god, and it’s meant to hold spiritual meaning. Mount Zion as a geographical area is current at the center of much dispute, the bible is clear that one day Zion will be the sole possession of the Lord Jesus. And Zion, both the nation and the city will be restored. So if you can take anything away from his parents choice of naming, it’s that from birth they knew he was going to be special. Fast forward 18 years and at 6’7 pushing 300 lb he most certainly very much is that.
For the third fact, let’s take it back a few years long before Zion was a megastar and labeled the next LeBron James. Prior to an insane growth spurt that we’re about to get up into. As a 9th grader Zion hadn’t prioritized any of the three sports he played, Football, Soccer and obviously Basketball. He stood at only 5’9, but it was this year where he endured a growth spurt which saw him sprout up to 6’3 by the end of the year. His focus then moved solely to basketball, and we all do set out personal goals. And became obsessed with the idea of dunking, he worked relentlessly til he was at a point where he could actually perform a slam dunk. Which not only was he able to do, but continued to work at and perfect his craft, that now judging from the background clips playing upon the screen. It’s fair to say he’s mastered.
Next up we have some info and facts about how Unprecented the package of Williamson’s physical tools and athletic gifts actually are. After having his measurements more strictly surveyed, at 6’7 285 lbs. Zion is not only as an 18-year-old Freshman, the heaviest player in all of college basketball. But tomorrow he could walk into the NBA, and be the second heaviest player in the entire league. Only 7’3 Center Boban Marjanovic weighs more, and as little, as I know about him I can assure you he isn’t out there shattering vertical leap records and dunking from the free throw line like Zion Williamson. To add some context, Zion is 15 pounds heavier than notorious bully DeMarcus Cousins, 35 pounds heavier than LeBron James despite being an inch shorter. Over 100 pounds heavier than OKC wing Terrance Ferguson, who’s also 6’7, and the same weight as WEE star Brock Lesnar who he is four inches taller than. As many facts as this are in one, we can title them all as one. Zion Williamson is a beast.

Federal Signal 3T22 - Alert & Attack - Boiling Springs, SC
Siren: Federal Signal 3T22B
Distance: 100 Feet
Signal: Alert; Attack
System: Spartanburg County
Testing: 1st Saturday of the month at 1 PM
Activation Policy: Alert for Tornado Warnings; Attack for other emergencies
Location: Boiling Springs Fire Department
Map (Siren 2):
Map (Spartanburg County):
Map (State of South Carolina): (#4.2; Page 1)
Description: I orignally planned to record the new T-128 in downtown Gaffney, the 3T22 near Woodruff in Laurens County, and then the Inman Community Fire Department 16 port Sentry 5V. I didn't feel like going to the T-128, due to the fact that it is unspecified whether it activates at 9 or 10 AM, so I skipped that, and decided not to record the 3T22 in Woodruff because it would be a short test. I left fairly late, at about 11:20 AM, and the estimated time of arrival at the time was 1:00, so I decided to just drive to this 3T22 in Boiling Springs, as I would not make it to the Sentry 5V. TrainsAndSirens1 told me the T-128 did not activate, so it was good that I did not try to record it, because my camcorder has (had; I bought a 2 hour battery for it today) a 30 minute battery. The 3T22 activated at 1:01, so if I had tried to make it to the 5V, I would've missed it anyway. I assumed it was three phase, until it activated and sounded lower pitched than regular three phase XT22s.

4 Reasons why Ja Morant, OVC Player of the Year is ready for the NBA! | | Colin’s Corner
#JaMorant #NextOnes
Ja Morant is going dancing. Murray State’s sophomore point guard helped his team punch a ticket to the NCAA tournament on Saturday night by dropping 36 points, seven rebounds, and three assists in a win over Belmont to secure the automatic bid by winning the Ohio Valley tournament.
Morant’s well-rounded numbers and immediately evident athleticism earned him a small amount of attention as a freshman, but it wasn’t until he was invited to Chris Paul’s Elite Guard Camp in August of 2018 that he really broke out. Playing against the top college point guards in the country in front of NBA scouts, Morant started to generate buzz that he could be a first round pick.
Morant’s best skill might be his passing ability. He enters the NCAA tournament leading the country in assists per game at an even 10 per contest, with a big lead over UNC Wilmington guard Kai Toews, who is second in America at 7.8 assists per game.
