Visiting (Williamstown) Historic Town in Melbourne starting from Nelson Place Williamstown , Commonwealth Reserve , Gem Pier Williamstown and Melbourne seaplanes ( Melbourne scenic flights ).
Gem Pier is an historic pier on Port Phillip Bay, in Williamstown, Victoria, Australia. The pier is 145 metres in length and is currently home to the museum ship HMAS Castlemaine (Williamstown ship museum) and Melbourne Seaplanes. Williamstown is a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 9 km (5.6 mi) south-west of Melbourne's central business district in the local government area of the City of Hobsons Bay.The first European to arrive at the place now known as (Williamstown) was Acting-Lieutenant Robbins, who explored Point Gellibrand with his survey party in 1803.[citation needed] The mouth of the Yarra River was later inspected in May and June 1835 by a party led by John Batman who recognised the potential of the Melbourne town-site for settlement

Williamstown is a historic port suburb about 8km from the Melbourne CBD. The oldest part of the Melbourne metro, it features some beautiful historic shophouses, hotels, homes and other buildings, Gem Pier where one can get a great view of the city, a Victorian-era botanic garden, and, less than a kilometre from the town, a rather nice little beach, Williamstown Beach. The Esplanade includes many venerable as well as heritage-listed historic mansions.

A maritime village located just 9km from Melbourne. Williamstown’s history is evident in its heritage buildings and streetscapes although some of that history has been lost, as buildings were demolished to make way for new development. In the 1950s, the historic Langhorne bluestone wool store in Nelson Place was demolished by the former Housing Commission of Victoria.

–Well a little while ago I released a video celebrating getting 5k subscribers, and I am happy to say that is currently now at around 7k now ???? , in that video I introduced you to the idea that I will be expanding into other things for the channel so that I can show everyone the different things available. Soooooo I got a kayak haha, this will allow me to show people what is available to catch on a bit of floating plastic too. I will still be including landbased and will also be including boat based videos into the future. LandfishTV is all about LANDING the fish. Managed to score a nice Snook with a Prolure Australia ( ) 2.5 inch grub on a 7 gram size 1 jighead while out filming this. A kayak setting seems like a perfect place for a Rod Ruler ( ) on your rod which is a sticker that runs along your rod to allow you to measure the fish easily.

The Enterpize, Williamstown, Victoria - AUSTRALIA
The Enterprize carried the permanent white settlers from Tasmania in the 1830s who set the foundation for a city, now called Melbourne. The filmed ship is a replica of John P. Fawkner's Schooner Enterprize that sailed from Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) at that time. The journey into Port Philip Bay on a beautiful sunny day is a delight, as long as you don't get sea sick :-) Enjoy!

Williamstown Beach railway station is located on the Williamstown line in Victoria, Australia. Beauty and the beach.
