We did a road trip from Melbourne and camped there for 2 day. Camping in wilson's prom was an amazing experience and I would recommend everyone to explore it if they are in Australia. This vlog has some cinematic shoot from my new sony a6500 camera. I am also using sigma 16mm lens. Sony a6500 and sigma 16mm lens is pefect combo for vlogging.
I used DJI mavic pro for shooting all the coinematic drone shot in Wilson promontory National Park.

Outback Australia - Wilsons Promontory National Park
We had the day off so we went camping for a night at Wilsons Promontory National Park in Victoria, Australia. In this video, you will see the famous Squeaky Beach (where you can literally hear the sand squeak when you drag your feet) and the beautiful Norman Beach in Victoria, Australia. We were lucky enough that the rain stopped after lunch so we managed to get some shots before we drove home the next night. Welcome to my channel! :)
Camping at Wilsons Promontory Melbourne, Victoria - Sealers Cove Campground
My friends and I had a great time camping out at Wilsons Promontory in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The campsite we choose is the Sealers Cove Campground which requires a 9.5KM hiking through the Jungle. The Wilsons promontory is about 2.5 hrs to 3 hrs drive from Melbourne CBD. On the way, we made a stop at Squeaky Beach to see how the beach got its name. There is another campsite which is even further from the Sealers Cove, the Refuge Cove. It's a long hike of about 17KM and we weren't ready for that. You can also plan for a visit to the Mount Oberon, a short hike from the Visitors Center for a picturesque view.
If you are planning to visit the Wilsons Promontory first, you must book your campsite in advance. Then you must be report at the Visitors Centre at the Tidal River and get a parking permit. Then you will be taken to Saddle river carpark via a shuttle bus and from there the hiking starts.
Pack perfectly for an overnight stay as there is not even electricity or telephone signal at the campground. Telstra has a very little network and no other carrier has the network. There is open eco-friendly toilets, water stream for washing and that's it. You have to carry your rubbish back to the place where you started your hike. The campsite is pretty safe except for some incidents where possum jumped on to the top of our tent. The trail can be hard for the first-timers.
In this video, you can check out how we planned our trip to Wilsons Promontory and set up our camp at the Sealers Cove Campground.

Wilsons Promontory National Park, Australia
The Prom doesn't mean you've been to the high school formal dance - it means Wilsons Promontory National Park, the southernmost part of the Australian mainland.
Wilsons Promontory National Park, commonly known as Wilsons Prom or The Prommo, is a national park in the Gippsland region of Victoria (Australia), 157 km southeast of Melbourne.
Wilsons Promontory, Victoria, Australia DJI Phantom 3 Drone 4K Video
My third drone video. Composed with shots on December 5 2015 at Wilsons Promontory National Park, Victoria, Australia.
- Darby River
- Tidal River
- Mt Oberon
Shot on DJI Phantom 3 Professional at 4096x2160p 25fps, ND-16 filter. Edited in Premiere Pro.
This is my third drone video, people seemed to have liked the last one from Mornington Peninsula.
Shot at Wilsons Promontory National Park on Saturday December 5 2015, including Darby River, Tidal River and Mt Oberon.
If any pilot/drone savvy people are wondering, yes there was an aerodrome (Tidal River Airport) nearby but I took precautions to fly below 400ft AGL and not operated in the movement area, runway, approach or departure path which might create an obstruction to aircrafts (there wasn't any) as advised and permitted by CASA.

Come with us to visit incredible Skull Rock! - Wilsons Prom
Come on an incredible adventure with Wildlife Coast Cruises and visit one of the most beautiful, natural areas in the world.
An experience of a lifetime, visiting untouched islands and rugged coastlines that are not accessible by land, viewing amazing rock formations, spectacular marine and wildlife areas that most people wouldn’t dream exist.
Eight hours of fully catered, luxury cruising with breathtaking scenery of Wilsons Prom as you have never seen it before!
We have had lots of interest in our Wilson’s Promontory Cruises, and in particular in one of the places we visit – Skull Rock! Correctly known as Cleft Island, this granite rock belongs to a group of three islands called the Anser Group.
The western side of the island has a gigantic cave with a grassy floor, that was probably carved by the sea when the sea levels were much higher, thousands of years ago. The Island is 113 metres high, and the water around it is 40mts deep! The cavern is 130 meters wide, 60 meters high and 60 meters deep - you could fit the Sydney Opera House inside it.
From a certain angle, the island looks like a skull — hence the name Skull Rock — complete with a big cranium, an eye socket (the cave) and the bridge of a nose. The cave was once thought to be used as target practice by passing ships!
The island is practically inaccessible with tall vertical cliffs and no
place where a small boat could come ashore and anchor. Because of this, few people have set foot on the island or explored the cave. Those who have, reportedly discovered cannon balls inside the cave.
More people have walked on the surface of the moon than have done at Skull Rock. One of the few people who have, Explorer Neil Oliver, unreservedly describes it as ‘the most special place I’ve ever seen’.

Along the route we finally saw some of Australia's most famous wildlife and beautiful scenery around Victoria!
