THE CONQUEST FAMILY IS GROWING!
We are proud to announce five new additions to our stables that we picked up at the recent OBS March sale:
First up is HIP 239 and what’s not to like about this big Tiznow?! He was born January 8th so he’s going to be mature relative to his peer group. He has a very similar pedigree to Morning Line (one of the best sons of Tiznow standing at Lane’s End Farm) and he’s out of the A.P. Indy Broodmare Lasting Appeal. This big boy is our classic distance horse, he too is an A++ true nicks, 19% winners for colts at an average distance raced of 9.51 furlongs!
Next is HIP 172 and this is our favorite Kitten’s Joy pedigree cross. It is the same cross as Conquest Panthera. We know how amazing Conquest Panthera is and HIP 172 looks just like him. We also own a 2YO colt named Conquest Sabre Cat coming from this similar cross. We’re really excited about all three. He is an A++ True Nicks with 33% Stakes winners for the cross colts.
HIP 515 is a colt out of Adios Charlie. Mark believes this is the 2015 version of Conquest Two Step. He’s out of a great mare, Unlimited Pleasure, who brought us one of our favorite horses, Unlimited Budget. This is a rocket.
HIP 537 is a very pretty Canadian filly out of City Zip. She’s a late foal, May 4th 2013, so it is surprising she is so fast this early. We’re exited to get her up to Woodbine for some Stakes action as a 2YO. She should be very precocious.
Last but certainly not least is HIP 590. He looks like he can fly! This was one of Ernie’s favorites. The Indian Charlie / Mr Prospector cross is strong and has created multiple Stakes winners. Hopefully our Uncle Mo will follow in their footsteps...
We’ll be sure to keep you updated on these future Conquest rising stars!
