Windsor & Eton Brewery Guardsman Best Bitter English Ale Review in 4K UHD - from Windsor, England
WINDSOR & ETON BREWERY GUARDSMAN BEST BITTER
The first new ale brewed in Windsor for more than 80 years and launched on St George’s Day 2010.
This beer is a classic English Best Bitter, brewed with premium floor malted Maris Otter and traditional whole leaf hops including Fuggles and Goldings. The result is a lovely copper- coloured session strength ale with a tangy taste. The distinctive hop aroma is derived from use of both late hop additions and also a hop-back.
The famous bearskin hats worn by the Guard regiments based in Windsor was our inspiration for the bottle label and original pump clip. The new pump clip shows all five of the Guards regiments. You can tell each regiment apart by the number of buttons and the colour and position of the plume. The Coldstream Guards are currently garrisoned here and they have pairs of buttons with a red plume worn on the left side of the bearskin.
Available in cask and 500ml bottles (4.2% ABV) throughout the year.

Windsor & Eton Brewery Knight of the Garter Golden Ale Beer Review in 4K UHD - in Windsor, England
Back in England after a fun yet brief stay in Scotland! We're back in Windsor, and this time trying out some local brews at a park right across town from Windsor Castle - this is the Windsor & Eton Brewery Knight of the Garter, website description as follows:
WINDSOR & ETON BREWERY KNIGHT OF THE GARTER GOLDEN ALE
Originally launched in June to coincide with the annual Ceremony of the Garter held at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle. This beer quickly proved so popular that it is now a favourite throughout the year.
A flaxen-coloured, easy drinking Golden Ale, brewed with American Amarillo whole leaf hops giving a distinctive fresh citrus aroma reminiscent of cut grapefruit.
The badge design features the emblem used at the ceremony to honour the Knights awarded this exclusive accolade. Our very own Knightclub is a little easier to gain membership of but no less sought after and a lot more fun (see Knightclub tab).
Available in cask and 500ml bottles (3.8% ABV) throughout the year.

Windsor & Eton Brewery Kohinoor IPA Beer Review in 4K UHD - from Windsor, England
WINDSOR & ETON BREWERY KOHINOOR IPA
Meaning ‘Mountain of light’ in Persian, Kohinoor was originally brewed as one of 2012 Jubilee beers all inspired by ingredients from around the Commonwealth. Pronounced KO-HI-NOOR, the exotic IPA is made with Indian spices and Jasmine petals from the East Indies.
Based on a classic IPA recipe which uses Imperial Malt along with Chinook, Simcoe and Pacific Jade hops. However the additional special ingredients of Jaggery (raw cane sugar from India bought from Southall market), Jasmine Petals, Cardamom and Coriander produce a distinctive twist to this “Indies Pale Ale”.
The resultant beer is a pale, smooth, full IPA with a distinct bitterness and with a hop aroma that is enhanced by a touch of the exotic!
Our beer is named after the original “Kohinoor”, the large diamond at the centre piece of the Coronation Crown used in 1953 and whose history is traced for over 1000 years though we think this beer is a diamond of equal brilliance!
Available in cask (4.5% ABV) from February to May and bottles (330ml) throughout the year.

Windsor & Eton Brewery Conqueror Black IPA Beer Review in 4K UHD - in Windsor, England
Another video in 4K UHD from Windsor, just outside of London, England! This video is us trying out a very local brew - website description below! Cheers!
WINDSOR & ETON BREWERY CONQUEROR BLACK IPA
Launched in autumn 2010, this rich, complex & distinctive ale is one of the UK’s most talked about beers. The name generates controversy. This beer is brewed in the IPA style ie strong, dry and hoppy (historically all features to cope with the arduous journey to India) but it certainly isn’t pale. But even in Victorian times, these dark IPAs were around and described as ‘a dark beer of the Burton style’. The blackness of Conqueor is produced using a blend of 5 malts including Chocolate, dark Crystal, Carafa and Smoked malt.
Unlike a stout though this beer also packs a mighty punch of hop flavour derived from Summit and Cascade hops. The result is a completely different drinking experience.
The badge design is based on the shield used at the battle of Hastings by William the Conqueror who subsequently founded Windsor Castle in 1075. The design was modified later to incorporate a 3rd lion and now features regularly on England’s football shirts- there’s endorsement for you!
This multi-award winning beer is available in cask and 500ml bottles (5% ABV) throughout the year.

COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We have now brewed the final beer in our trilogy of beers to commemorate this very special Jubilee year. Available from the 15th October, it’s called CANBERRA. On the day of the Coronation, BBC footage was flown non-stop to Canada on a Canberra jet plane. This was the first time that Canadians had been able to watch an event on the same day that it had occurred. Long before the days of satellite or digital, this historic first was a major triumph. CANBERRA is a rich chestnut coloured beer to help make the Autumn and Winter evenings a little less gloomy. It is brewed with a balance of dark malts including Imperial, Chocolate, Dark Aromatic, and both Light and Dark Crystal malts. To recognise the link with both Australia and Canada, and to complete the tour of Commonwealth countries associated with this series of beers, we have used ingredients from both New World continents. CANBERRA has Galaxy hops from Australia, Nelson Sauvign from New Zealand and just a touch of Canadian maple syrup. This 4.0% ABV beer is available in casks, 5 litre mini casks and kegs and 2L PET bottles. In addition, 500ml bottles (4.2% ABV) will be available from mid-November.

Windsor & Eton - Windsor Knot 4.5%
One or those breweries that really spark my imagination. Nothing but a tender embrace of quality ingredients go into their beers and go in with the style and panache straight from a true culinary artist's palette/palate. This really is a romance of malt and hop, and that which Windsor & Eton hath put together, let no man put asunder.
Amen to that.

WINDSOR, UK: Best Things to Do FROM A LOCAL | Travel Guide
Windsor, Berkshire is famous for it's castle and royal weddings. It also happens to be the town that I grew up in, so this is my overview of all of the best things to do - from a local's perspective!
From Windsor Castle to Windsor Great Park, Legoland to Eton College - there's loads to see! It's very easy day trip from London, either by train or bus. The proximity of the main sights makes it very easy to explore.

SIGHTS FEATURED:
- Windsor Castle
The oldest and largest occupied castle in the world. It's Queen Elizabeth's preferred weekend residence and can you blame her? It is also the home of St George's Chapel, where Harry and Meghan's wedding ceremony is taking place.
- The River Thames
The Thames flows through the whole of the Royal Borough. French Brothers offer some really good boat tours, as do Duck Tours and some smaller motorboat and rowing boat companies. The best view of Windsor Castle is from the river.
- Legoland, Windsor
This is where I got my first ever job! With its exciting rides, shows, and LEGO building workshops, this is a perfect destination for the kids. Be careful though, tickets are expensive if you don't book in advance!
- Eton and Eton Collage
Home to the iconic Tudor-era boarding school that has produced 19 of the UK's prime ministers. Eton is a lot less crowded than Windsor and well worth a look.
- The Long Walk / Windsor Great Park
The most well-known image of Windsor Great Park is arguably the iconic view down the Long Walk, towards Windsor Castle at the far end. This tree-lined avenue stretches down towards the ancient fortress, illustrating the regal grandeur and Royal heritage of Windsor Great Park. Harry and Meghan will be driving down the Long Walk on their wedding day.
