The Long Walk in Windsor
An empty bladder in the beginning of the walk is essential. The walk itself is only 2.5 miles long (4 kilometres) - to the Copper Horse. But you have to go back.

Royal Windsor Horse Show 2019.
My personal video impression from this very special horse show at the grounds of Windsor Castle in Mai 2019. Thanks to the organisation for organising such an impressive horse event with lots of very nice horse coaches at the Lang Walk in front of Windsor Castle.
Landrover/Rangerover did also a great job as Head-sponsor of this unique Royal Windsor Horse Show.
Windsor Long Walk | Harry's Hikes
This is a nice and easy leisurely walk from Windsor Castle to The Copper Horse Statue of King George III. Along the way you will see stunning views of the Castle and wide views all the way into London on a clear day.
Rated Easy due to distance, tarmac terrain, any footwear, and accessibility.

Horses take to the streets of Windsor for royal wedding rehearsal - Daily Mail
Roads on the procession route near Windsor Castle are shut as the military, police and other emergency services gear up for the big day in a dry run of Saturday's celebrations. Royal well wishers packed the streets (main) around Windsor Castle as organisers made the final touches to their wedding preparations. More than 250 members of the armed forces are taking part in the rehearsal including military on horseback and soldiers carrying rifles (left and right) along with the couple's carriage. Earlier armed police and specially trained sniffer dogs patrolled the streets of the royal town, with squadrons of uniformed officers with machine guns toured the town in rotation. Their colleagues checked drains, bins and any other potential hiding places for bombs as the Berkshire town was turned into a fortress.

Project Director Nick Brooks-Ward explains the reason for cancelling performances on Wednesday and expresses his hope for the coming days...
The Long Walk - Windsor
The straight path that links Windsor Castle with Snow Hill in Windsor Great Park is known as The Long Walk.
From the Castle gate to the foot of the statue of King George III (The Copper Horse) The long walk measures 2.64 miles in length. It's a great distance for joggers and very popular for walkers too.
Snow Hill, as the legend has it, was where King Henry VIII sat and waited for news of the execution of his second wife, Queen Anne Boleyn. However, the path as we know it only came into being during the reign of King Charles II who had double rows of Elm trees planted the entire length of the route. There were 1,652 trees planted to create the basis of the landscape we know today.
The Long Walk is still used by the royal carriages every year as part of the route from Windsor Castle to the Ascot Races.

Windsor Castle is a royal residence at Windsor in the English county of Berkshire. The castle is notable for its long association with the British royal family and for its architecture. The original castle was built in the 11th century after the Norman invasion by William the Conqueror. Since the time of Henry I, it has been used by succeeding monarchs and it is the longest-occupied palace in Europe. The castle's lavish, early 19th-century State Apartments are architecturally significant, described by art historian Hugh Roberts as a superb and unrivalled sequence of rooms widely regarded as the finest and most complete expression of later Georgian taste
