The new home in Surrey Weybridge called Whitelands, The Mansion sold for £ 17 million
The new home in Surrey Weybridge called Whitelands, The Mansion sold for £ 17 million
Is this the most luxurious new building in the UK property market? The Mansion sells for £ 17M including a ballroom converted into a swimming pool, car turntable, and wine cellar full of Chateauneuf-du-Pape
The new home in Surrey Weybridge is called Whitelands, and has some amazing features that will not be found in your separate average family home.
The big house - from developer Lucas Design - is in the exclusive private land of St George's Hill, whose notable former neighbors include Beatles drummer Ringo Starr and Jenson Button racer.
Among the many luxurious touches, there is a modern ballroom that transforms itself into a swimming pool with the touch of a button.
It only takes six minutes downstairs and a pond full of water, to a depth of 1.85 meters - long enough to sip wine from the pool bar.
With five bedrooms, there is plenty of room for guests to stay overnight if they decide not to come home after dinner.
And they can keep their cars in the underground garage, which has a turntable to avoid having to turn the park into one of the parking lots.
Other features on the property include a wine and champagne full warehouse, cinema room, games room, gym and separate spa with swimming pool, sauna and steam room.
In total, about £ 400,000 spent on interior design, which includes £ 8,000 spent at the dinner table and £ 65,000 spent on five statement lamps, according to Alexander James Interior Design, who did the job.
The interior design budget does not include the cost of swimming pools, cabinets and kitchens.
The kitchen has a fabulous breakfast bar and a unit with a sumptuous leather inset on the wardrobe door.
Anyone who cares that the skin will start to discolour or smell amid the aroma of cinnamon risotto can ensure that most of the cooking will be done in a separate staff kitchen.
A separate £ 16.95million house also has a separate staff room with its own entrance on the property side.
St George's Hill is a 964-acre private area with security guards and CCTV, 420 homes, as well as its own golf and tennis club.
This is the Elmbridge district, an area dubbed Surrey Beverley Hills due to the multi-million pound property of players and celebrities.
Karina Sundgren, from Alexander James Interior Design, said: 'Whiteland instantly surprised us with its beauty and majesty. With this beautiful property, we feel that it is very important to do justice with our interior design.

Investment Retail Property For Sale in Whitby North Yorkshire
Whitby, North Yorkshire, England
Advert Ref: 3956
Business Description
Preferred Commercial is delighted to offer for sale this investment retail property, which has been in our client's careful hands since 1972 and which is only now being placed onto the market due to our client's wish to retire. We are advised that the property will have vacant possession upon completion. The ground floor retail area is currently operating as a ladies and gents bespoke clothes shop. We feel the ground floor would make an ideal café or coffee shop due to its highly visible corner location, subject to any necessary planning permission. The upper floors of the property are currently used by our client as a family home but could be developed into two separate flats if so desired. This Grade II listed property is well-presented throughout and boasts 7 bedrooms across 3 floors. The premises could potentially be redeveloped and rented out to generate a healthy rental income. We feel this is an ideal opportunity to acquire an investment retail property in a prime town centre location with scope for many uses. Early negotiations with Preferred Commercial must come highly recommended.

The Videographer’s rant:
Although i worked at 720p dvd resolution, I made Stereo recordings for smartphone as ofcom say that now most people use them to surf the internet. I also don’t like compression buffering, when viewing High definition on public wi-fi, so i make the lowest possible pixel count videos of acceptable quality. That does not pander to artist’s egos, But such are quicker to upload in a cyber cafe. I took two portable LED Lithium ion worklights, one small on a flash-bar with white diffusers and apricot filters, another larger, with white diffusers and a36 generic theatre pink stage wash filters. The rode videomicpro was set at -10dB, as i do not have audio metering and i don’t like the agc (automatic gain control) compression artifacts. The lighting was poor for video, but atmospheric, hence grain in the footage. the slick 500g tripod wobbled as people passed bye, but i like portability comfort almost above all. the guitar sounds a bit low in the mix (i was not producing). The view finder was too small to see the shots properly and dims a short while after pressing start record. It beggars belief, that i have not seen a nylon pan head bush on a cheap tripod yet. post Production: Conversion of imported files takes forever ( having set in and out points and fisheye curves removal). The software crashed exporting and would not quit. Alt + command + escape. Exporting files takes forever. I had to enhance colours and adjust the volume higher.

ED GRAY ART TV presents NIGHT ON MARE STREET ~ episode 2 ~
London-based painter Ed Gray discusses 'Night On Mare Street,' a work for his 2010 exhibition 'Mind Out Of Time' at the GX Gallery.
... at the recent Hackney Pig's Ear Beer festival it was all agreed that the Pitfield Brewery's Night On Mare Street II lived in the acceptably amusing beer name category. The beer festival took place in Ocean on Mare Street -- so you see what they did with their name. Its a play on the popular film sequence -- including the sequels*, BUT THE LOLL's don't stop there. Because the beer itself is a whopping 14.2% Thus a potential nightmare in bottle / draught form. 14.2% starts going beyond barley wine and into a hithertoo unappreciated area of bouze, namely the barley FORTIFIED wine...
It's called Pigs Ear because it's cockney rhyming sland for beer.
