Can We Climb This Hillside Vineyard After Wine Tasting?! || Schloss Wackerbarth
We Went Wine Tasting at Schloss Wackerbarth in Radebeul Germany, just outside of Dresden! This was our first time wine tasting, & it just was a blast! We did the Wine Tour which cost 12 euros per person, included an English audio guide, & three glasses of wine! After our tour, we climbed the Hillside Vineyard, totaling in 302 steps! It was difficult to hike, surprisingly not because of the wine we drank lol, but because it was so darn steep! The top ended up being an incredible view of the city! Definitely recommend visiting this place if you're ever looking to go wine tasting in Eastern Germany!

After breakfast we drove to Saint Martin and visited the winery Aloisiushof. Alois Kiefer is a traditional family business founded in 1950 by Alois and Rita Kiefer. They manage 21 hectar. The main varieties are Riesling, Pinot blanc and Pinot Noir. Sitting under an old chestnut tree and listening to the rippling of the fountain in the park - this is real luxury! This is the way to enjoy life. And if there are now also excellent wines, you are in paradise or in the vinotheque Villa In Paradise / Motzenbäcker in Deidesheim is just right and we will get to know more about the unique sparkling wine production according to the method Rurale. These sparkling wines have top level and Mrs. Marie Menger-Krug was looking forward to tasting these sparkling wines together with us. - We checked in in the Steigenberger Hof and after a short rest, we enjoyed lovely German wines and food in the the Restaurant of the Winery Dr. Bürklin-Wolf.

The German Wine Route or Wine Road (German: Deutsche Weinstraße) is the oldest of Germany's tourist wine routes. Located in the Palatinate region of the federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate, the route was established in 1935. The German Wine Route is marked by numerous open-air wine festivals, held annually from March to October, that make it a major tourist attraction. The largest wine festival worldwide with more than 600,000 visitors each year is the Wurstmarkt in front of the world's largest wine barrel, the Giant Cask or Riesenfass, in Bad Dürkheim in September. Other important wine festivals are the German Wine Harvesting Festival (Deutsches Weinlesefest) in Neustadt an der Weinstraße where the German Wine Queen is selected in October, the festival in Freinsheim (Stadtmauerfest in July), and in Deidesheim (Deidesheimer Weinkerwe in August).
