Wine Course - Sangiovese
Get the course booklet and wines:
Lets learn about Sangiovese in our Wine Style Tasting Course. Sangiovese is a signature red wine grape from Italy. Still, not many people know about this wine. And, to make matters more difficult, there are many regions in Italy that call this wine by a different name!
Some of the Italian regional wines that use Sangiovese include Chianti, Chianti Classico, Vino Nobile de Montepulciano, Brunello di Montalcino, Rosso di Montefalco... and the list goes on!
Find out more about this fascinating, distinctly Italian wine!

Medium deep ruby red colour. Generous nose offering ripe cherry, dried herbs, fine oak and tobacco notes with fine layers and complexity. The palate is dense and concentrated, it offers sweet fruit yet remaining dry with a fresh acidity underneath, plenty of spices and herbs with ripe cherry and plum flavours, high ripeness and warm alcohol but balanced with a long and intense finish.
