Awesome Wine tasting in Australia’s Barossa Valley
The Barossa Valley is Australia's premier wine region. If you have ever tasted an Australian Shiraz it came most likely from the Barossa. The valley is home to some of the world's biggest wineries such as Jacob's Creek and Penfolds, however the many boutique wineries is where the region really comes alive. Jump on a bike, go off the beaten track and discover your new favourite winery. You could stay in the Barossa for a week indulge in the ridiculously good food and wine, but we're giving you our 48 hour itinerary to experience the famous region in 2 days. See it all in our in depth destination guide and latest episode of Australian Adventurer, our original travel videos series where we discover the best of Australia.

Wine Tasting in Barossa Valley Vineyards Australia
I went to Barossa Valley Vineyards with my family. But we made a few stops on the way to the Barossa Valley Vineyards. We stopped at Barossa Reservoir Reserve, The Whispering Wall, and Maggie Beer's Farm Shop. We went for a wine tasting at Rockford Wines and Murray Street Vineyards. I hope you enjoy the video!

#realaussiewine tour 2019: Barossa Valley
As Jack Suckling makes his way back to Bangkok, James and senior editor Nick Stock take a few minutes out of their tastings in Barossa Valley, to discuss the second leg of their #realaussiewine journey: how winemakers in South Australia are starting to take more risks and be more courageous as they explore ways to express their own regional distinctions.
Plus: the move toward natural, low-sulfur and low-intervention wines in the region.

The history and evolution of Shiraz in the Barossa
With a rich vine and wine history dating back to 1842, the Barossa is one of the most historic wine producing regions in Australia. Today, there's a group of new and exciting winemakers who are helping to change the face of wine in the Barossa. We’ve got a bedrock of winemaking tradition and old vines blended with a younger generation who are challenging global perceptions of Australian wine. Charlie Melton, Charles Melton Wines.
