Melania Trump and G7 First Ladies Visit France's Red Pepper Capital
Melania Trump, Brigitte Macron and other world leaders' wives visited a village that is home of a famed French red pepper and tasted Basque country wine on the sidelines of the G7 summit on Sunday, August 25. The village of Espelette is known for its pimento d'Espelette peppers. (AP)
G7 first ladies visit France's red pepper capital
Looking relaxed and pleased in each other's company, Mayor Jean-Marie Iputcha took the glamorous ladies on a whirlwind tour of the village of Espelette, near to where the summit is taking place. But conspicuous by her absence was Boris Johnson's beau Carrie Symonds, who is understood to have not been able to make the trip due to work commitments. Melania Trump is understood to have scouted the area in June, to prepare for the gastronomic and cultural tour in the village which is 20 miles into the Pyreness foothills. The area is most famous for its dried red peppers called Piment d'Espelette. The ladies strolled through the picturesque village, also known for its stunning scenery, and posed outside a number of local shops, and traditional Basque houses. Rise of Panda's Legacy
Ce film retrace notre road trip en Californie pour la participation au concours Upcycle Contest organisé par Vissla ainsi que nos pérégrination à la recherche de vagues. Nous avons été sélectionés pour la finale d'une compétition organisée par Vissla et Surfrider Foundation qui consistait à fabriquer une planche de surf à base de matériaux recyclés (voir notre vidéo : Nous sommes donc partis présenter notre prototype à une exhibition à San Clemente, au sud de Los Angeles.
Ce fût également pour nous l'occasion d'essayer nos derniers prototypes de planches sur les vagues mythiques de la côte Californienne. Après l'exposition à San Clemente, nous sommes ainsi parti fêter Halloween à San Francisco pour ensuite longer la côte de Santa Cruz à Los Angeles en suivant les houles. Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir des vagues exceptionnelles à Lower/Upper Trestles (San Clemente), à Steamer lane et Four miles (Santa Cruz) puis à Rincon point et Ventura point (Ventura).
Cette vidéo est un moyen pour nous de faire partager notre expérience qui fût enrichissante à de nombreux niveaux.
