Walking Dead future set in Dayton, Ohio (Santa Clara Neighborhood)
This is Victor Avenue in the Santa Clara neighborhood in North Dayton, Ohio around the North Main Street area and given the abandoned houses and hardly anybody living in the neighborhood anymore, you could easily film the Walking Dead here.
The city of Dayton will have to make a choice eventually with streets like this on whether or not to buy them out and cut off the city services altogether here
Welcome to Historic Grafton Hill Neighborhood in Dayton, Ohio (A bright spot in Dayton)

What It’s Like to Live in a National Cemetery: A Look at Cemetery Lodges
59 of our national cemeteries have lodges on property. In most cases, they are used as administration buildings or lent out for Veteran Service Organizations to use as an office. In four cases, like Baltimore National Cemetery, the lodge is used as a full time residence for cemetery directors.
The Dalles Real Estate
The Dalles Real Estate
The Dalles real estate market appears to be relatively stable compared to other cities and states. Home prices have indeed declined from 2008 to 2009 but only by 15 to 20 percent. The highest number of sales are found in the under $350,000 segment and prices appear to be stabilizing going into the year 2010. Contributing factors to support the stability of the market include affordability, with median prices now under $200,000 and low mortgage rates plus the recently extended government tax credits. For all of these reasons The Dalles real estate is a great investment.
In The Dalles real estate market, the climate has similarities to a Mediterranean climate, making Oregon an attractive place to live with its mild winters and dry summers. Snowfall during winter is relatively rare and tends to melt quickly. The average annual temperature is 52.1 degrees Fahrenheit or 11.2 degrees Centigrade. Combined with the low population density of approximately 3,400 people per square mile it makes for a very comfortable place to buy The Dalles real estate.
The Dalles real estate market made Fortune Small Business magazine's 2008 list of 100 best places to live and launch a small business in the United States. Other major industries include the manufacture of recreational vehicles, timber and other wood products. Many multinational corporations also had their beginnings in The Dalles real estate market

Places to see in ( Saint Paul - USA )
Places to see in ( Saint Paul - USA )
Saint Paul, the state capital of Minnesota, forms the Twin Cities with neighboring Minneapolis. It’s home to the Science Museum of Minnesota, with its dinosaur specimens and immersive theater. The Minnesota History Center has interactive exhibits about the region's history. Nearby is the beaux arts Cathedral of Saint Paul. The Cass Gilbert–designed Minnesota State Capitol features paintings of Civil War scenes.
Founded near historic Native American settlements as a trading and transportation center, the city rose to prominence when it was named the capital of the Minnesota Territory in 1849. The Dakota name for Saint Paul is Imnizaska. Though Minneapolis (Bdeota) is better-known nationally, Saint Paul contains the state government and other important institutions. Regionally, the city is known for the Xcel Energy Center, home of the Minnesota Wild, and for the Science Museum of Minnesota. As a business hub of the Upper Midwest, it is the headquarters of companies such as Ecolab. Saint Paul, along with its Twin City, Minneapolis, is known for its high literacy rate. It was the only city in the United States with a population of 250,000 or more to see an increase in circulation of Sunday newspapers in 2007.
The settlement originally began at present-day Lambert's Landing, but was known as Pig's Eye after Pierre Pig's Eye Parrant established a popular tavern there. When Lucien Galtier, the first Catholic pastor of the region, established the Log Chapel of Saint Paul (shortly thereafter to become the first location of the Cathedral of Saint Paul), he made it known that the settlement was now to be called by that name, as Saint Paul as applied to a town or city was well appropriated, this monosyllable is short, sounds good, it is understood by all Christian denominations.
The city's seventeen Planning Districts are:
Sunray-Battle Creek-Highwood
Greater East Side
West Side
Dayton's Bluff
Payne-Phalen
North End
Thomas Dale (Frogtown)
Summit-University

In winter months, Saint Paul hosts the Saint Paul Winter Carnival, a tradition that began in 1886 when a New York reporter called Saint Paul another Siberia. Attended by 350,000 visitors annually, the event showcases ice sculpting, an annual treasure hunt, winter food, activities, and an ice palace. The Como Zoo and Conservatory and adjoining Japanese Garden are popular year-round. The historic Landmark Center in downtown Saint Paul hosts cultural and arts organizations. The city's notable recreation locations include Indian Mounds Park, Battle Creek Regional Park, Harriet Island Regional Park, Highland Park, the Wabasha Street Caves, Lake Como, Lake Phalen, and Rice Park, as well as several areas abutting the Mississippi River. The Irish Fair of Minnesota is also held annually at the Harriet Island Pavilion area. And the country's largest Hmong American sports festival, the Freedom Festival, is held the first weekend of July at McMurray Field near Como Park.

Westwood School Peace March
DAYTON---The students message rang loud and clear throughout the Westwood neighborhood. Students from pre-kindergarten to eighth grade marching and chanting...We believe in peace, we believe in peace. Britney Wilson is one of the teachers who organized the peace project. They wanted to have a peace walk to create peace within the school with their classmates, said Wilson. The students say they wanted their voices heard especially after the scenes of rioting and violence in Baltimore. I think when kids our age see us doing this they see leaders and they might want to follow us, said Westwood student, Aniya Philpot. Philpot is just 11-years-old and part of the group who organized the peace project. We were going to have it later on in the week but they moved it to today because of everything that was going on, said Wilson. Organizers say what makes this march even more significant is that a small group came up with the idea and their idea spread throughout the school. As they chanted peace, peace peace around the block of their school they were hoping people who hear the message. Amazingly even at early age the kids recognize many of the issues around them many right in their troubled Westwood neighborhood where juvenile crime rates are some of highest in the city. If we actually inspire others more people will think about it, said Westwood student, Adam Washington. And for student body president Messiah Holbrook, he's looking at the even bigger picture. Not just Baltimore but issues with police and African Americans making headlines around the country. Because of what is happening in the United States in 2014 and 2015 me and even other people have started to think is this the area or land of the free. The students have several other events planned for the month of May including an peace themed art exhibit and gala
