Woburn Abbey - English Stately Home & Gardens | Milton Keynes | UK Days Out Travel Vlog
We visit Woburn Abbey, a privately owned stately home near Milton Keynes, England. The beautiful gardens were designed by landscape designer Humphrey Repton and the house and gardens are surrounded by a deer park. The house is still lived in by the Duke and Duchess of Bedford.
Woburn Abbey is part of the Historic Houses Association, so we were able to get in for free as part of our annual membership.
We also take a walk around Milton Keynes, where we stayed at a Travelodge for our weekend away.

Joe and I went on a weekend trip to Harlington and did a day trip to visit Woburn Abbey.
Info on Woburn Abbey: Woburn Abbey occupying the east of the village of Woburn, Bedfordshire, England, is a country house, the family seat of the Duke of Bedford. Although it is still a family home to the current duke, it is open on specified days to visitors, along with the diverse estate surrounding it, including the historic landscape gardens and deer park (by Humphry Repton), as well as more recently added attractions including Woburn Safari Park, a miniature railway and a garden/visitor centre.

one of the first if not the first flower power/flower children/hippie festivals ever to be promoted in the u.k. august 26-28 at Woburn abbey...great line-up of bands including the move/eric burdon/small faces/the dream/jeff beck/denny laine/dantelions chariot and more....basic light shows/fairish crowds who look suspiciously like 'weekend hippies' bedecked in store brought clothes especially for the occasion...the counter culture hadn't really hit home yet with London being its centre...mind you this was a start and better things were to happen...some silent film here but I've put some music where appropriate...enjoy!...just had some new info from jeff dexter who informs me that the eric burden clip in fact comes from the 7th annual jazz & blues festival at Windsor....thanx jeff...
