Gyeongju Drone Flight: Gyeongju is a city on South Korea's southeast coast. It was the capital of the 1,000-year-long Silla Dynasty, and is known for its extensive historical remains.
Cheomseongdae Observatory (첨성대): is an astronomical observatory in Gyeongju, South Korea. Cheomseongdae means star-gazing tower in Korean. Cheomseongdae is the oldest surviving astronomical observatory in Asia, and possibly even the world. It was constructed in the 7th century in the kingdom of Silla, whose capital was Seorabeol, or present-day Gyeongju (경주). Cheomseongdae was designated as the country's 31st national treasure on December 20, 1962. Modeled on Baekje's Jeomseongdae, which now exists only in historical records, the Cheomseongdae influenced the construction of a Japanese observatory in 675, and Duke Zhou's observatory in China in 723.
Daereungwon Tomb Complex (Cheonmachong Tomb) (대릉원(천마총)): (Ancient Tomb No. 155), which was excavated in 1973. Cheonmachong Tomb consists of a wooden coffin placed inside an underground chamber mounded with boulders and earth, characterized as a typical upper class tomb of the Silla period. The mound has a height of 12.7 m with a diameter of 50 m, and consists of a layer of rocks collected from streams. Below the rock layer is a wooden chamber that is 6.5 m long and 2.1 m wide, reaching 2.1 m in height, with the wooden coffin at its center. A total of 11,526 artifacts were discovered within the tomb, including Cheonmado, an artwork considered highly valuable as it is Korea's first artwork to be excavated from an ancient tomb.
Gyeongju Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond (경주 동궁과 월지):Gyeongju Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond were the secondary palace site which was used by the crown prince. It also served as a banquet site for important national events and important visitors. After the fall of Silla, the site was abandoned and forgotten. The pond was referred to as Anapji during the Goryeo and Joseon period. In the 1980s, pottery fragment with letters “Wolji” (a pond that reflects the moon) carved onto it was found, revealing the true name of the pond. After the discovery, the site was renamed to the current Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond.
Gyeongju National Museum (국립경주박물관):has numerous historical and cultural artifacts of the Silla Dynasty (57 BC - AD 935). The museum recently went through renovation, and the galleries and the exhibition halls have taken on a new look.
Bunhwangsa Temple(분황사) : was built in year 634, during the third year of Queen Seondeok's rule, the 27th ruler of the Silla Kingdom. Prominent Buddhist priests Wonhyo and Jajang resided at the temple.
Gyeongju Hwangnyongsaji (Hwangnyongsa Temple Site) (경주 황룡사지): is the name of a former Buddhist temple in the city of Gyeongju, South Korea. Completed in the 7th century, the enormous 9-story structure was built entirely with wood with interlocking design with no iron nails. Wikipedia
Gyeongju Gyochon Traditional Village (경주 교촌마을) is a hanok village that allows visitors to take a look inside the lifestyle of the Choi Clan, a family known to have remained wealthy for the longest period of time in Korean history. Visitors can see the House of the Gyeongju Choi Clan (Important Folklore Material No. 27) and try some Gyeongju Gyodong Beopju Liquor (Important Intangible Cultural Asset No. 86-3).
Woljeong Bridge or Woljeonggyo (월정교): is a covered bridge located next gyochon traditional village in gyeongju, South Korea.
according to records, Woljeonggyo was originally built during 19th year reign of King Gyeongdeok, the 35th king of Silla.

This is the largest wooden barricade bridge in Korea(length: 387m, width:3.6m), and its name was decided by gathering citizens’ opinions in reference to the incident that Wolyeongdae moved to this place due to flood and the name of the area ‘Eumdam-gol, Wolgok-myeon’. Jumping high-angle fire fountains at the bridge spurt up water. If you sit on Palgakjeong located on the bridge, you can see whole Andong Dam.

We stayed in a TEMPLE | Gyeongju || South Korea
Bee house was the best place we stayed in korea highly recommend really comfortable nice rooms good location we also had lockers to use in the day before we could check in ... great place!
Getting around Gyeongju was fine we mainly walked and got one bus to the templestay (there was loads of info about this sent to us from the templestay organisers/on their website) also getting busses to other cities is super easy, cheap and very comfortable! Also, note the train station is 20 mins outside the town if you are getting it from another city like Busan so I would recommend getting the bus, personally.
Woljeonggyo Bridge is totally worth a look its very nice and soooo long!
Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond is nice but I'm kind of sad I didn't see it at night .. you weren't allowed to go in and come back later in the day and I wasn't paying twice so maybe the best time to go is sunset so you can hang around and see both!
Daereungwon Royal Tomb is a nice little garden to wander around with random tombs too! I think its worth it!
Templestay - its pretty good but you have to stay in separate gender rooms so if you are a two-gender couple you will be split up I think that would've made it better for me if I didn't have to share a room with a random and I shared with my bf ... but it was only one night and was a very interesting experience. You do have to get up at 5am though! Also I wouldn't stay more than one night if you're just going for the experience its pretty samey even by lunchtime the next day! You can also do it at a range of temples just most don't seem to do the interesting stuff like archery or sunmundo we stayed at golgulsa. Heres the general website if you want to check it out

Gyeongju is a great destination for a day trip no matter where you live in Korea! Due to how central it is it is only a few hours away from anywhere in Korea! It used to be the capital city during the Silla dynasty so it is full of temples, palaces, and history!
We mostly got to see the main historical sites but there are also beautiful parks, great food, and an amusement park!

Woryeonggyo Bridge with sad a love story and Hahoe Folk Village, the birthplace of mask - Fall under the spell of Andong
The first travel destination of Korean Idol Simba and Vietnamese model Chau is Andong. Their journey begins at the Woryeonggyo Bridge which is known to be the longest footbridge made of wood in Korea. The legend behind this bridge is that if you cross the bridge holding hands you will not break up with your lover. Despite communication difficulty, they do their best to communicate by using body language and little bit of English. Then they quickly move to Hahoe Folk Village, the birthplace of mask. Simba and Chau visit and meet Hahoe mask dance artisan and Seonadang where play was used to be performed in the past. Not only the Hahoe mask and other stories and scenes but also they start to get to know each other.
From Mungyeongsaejae where bird finds the crossing difficult to Cheong-do where Wine Tunnel and Provence are.
Mungyeongsaejae is well-known as a mountain pass where scholars used to go through for the government official examination and Mungyeongsaejae Open Set was created and used for a variety of historical publications. Simba and Chau is having a good time enjoying flogging experience and king and queen makeover. Next destination is Cheong-do. An old tunnel was renovated and refurbished into a wine cellar. They taste the persimmon wine, a local specialty. In Provence, which is a perfect place to take pictures because of beautiful night view, they keep the great memory of Gyeonsangbuk-do Cheong-do in their minds.

คยองจูยังมีพื้นที่ที่เป็นหมู่บ้านโบราณเกาหลีอยู่เยอะเลยค่ะ
แม้ไม่ได้คึกคักเท่าช็อนจู แต่ความสวยก็ไม่ได้แพ้กันเลยนะคะ
นอนที่คยองจู 1 คืน ก็ขับรถมาต่อกันที่อันดงค่ะ
อันดงเป็นเมืองที่มีเสน่ห์จริงๆ เลยค่ะ
