Old school gaming at Wonderland
The Wonderland Entertainment Centre is a place adults can get as much fun out of as kids. With its 37-year history in Regina, the arcade is home to numerous old school video games many of us played in our youth. We sent reporters Mark Melnychuk and Austin M. Davis to Wonderland with the task of playing some of their favourites.

Exploring Regina Saskatchewan | Life in Canada with Soha
#Regina #Saskatchewan #Canada #TravelVlog #LifeInCanadaWithSoha
Regina is the capital of the Canadian Province, Saskatchewan.
We travelled there back in 2015. If you wish to see the picturesque scenery and views of Canadian countryside, you should go by bus. Even though the journey is extentensively long and takes almost 2 days, it is absolutely worth it.
If you start from Toronto, usually Greyhound bus is the one that would pick you up from Downtown Toronto. This bus is made greatly convenient for the passengers, equipped with accessible public toilet within, comfortable seating arrangements and heating or air-conditioning as well. It has wifi too.
There are multiple transits on the way where you could get out and walk around for 15-20 minutes, and usually these transits are made after every 1 hour or half an hour.
Regina is the second largest city in Saskatchewan, however it is not as big or developed as Toronto and also has a less dense population. However the lifestyle here is much more easier than that in Toronto if you compare the prices of consumer goods, affordability of living expenses, housing and transportation. There are a lot of job opportunities as well.
The Climate of Regina is very intense as every season is experienced in its extremity. From as high as plus 40 degree celsius in the summer to a low of minus 40 degree celsius in winter, both the heat and cold is brutal. However because of not having any major water bodies around the city, humidity is very low due to which all extreme temperatures are usually tolerable. In Monsoon, heavy rainfall causes flood in some areas. Long days in summer and long nights in winter makes you wonder, what huge impact time differences can make in your lives.
Heavy snowfall affects travel and drivability sometimes, but The City Corporation does their due dilligence by sending big snow trucks to clean the snow and salt the streets.
Major tourist attractions in Regina include, Downtown Regina, Casino Regina, Wascana Lake and Wascana Centre, Legislative Building and many more. Many events and festivities are also celebrated every year, including the Traditional Circus and Waskimo Winter Festival.
If you want to step out of the chaotic city life in Toronto, and experience peaceful nature closely, we would highly recommend you visit Regina, Saskatchewan.

NOT ABOUT YOU | Episode 8 Regina Mustafa
“You have to be uncomfortable if you want to make change.”
Regina Mustafa, founder of CIDI (Community Interfaith Dialogue on Islam), talks about her experiences as a Muslim-American. She speaks honestly about misconceptions about Islam, talks about the word terrorism and explains the financial and emotional incentives that work to perpetuate ideas that keep a divide between Muslims and non-Muslims.
The premise of Not About You is simple. I wanted to ask marginalized folks to tell a white, straight, cis-gendered person (that's me) what question or questions they wish they never had to hear again. They did just that and I had them answer those question, hopefully for the last time. Also, I've been a comedy writer and performer my entire adult life, so this show is full of jokes. I’ve set up a voicemail line, 612-361-9261, where you can share comments, suggestions and personal stories of your own that may be used in future episodes of the podcast. If you tell me which episode you’re responding to, that will help me make follow up episodes with voicemail responses. Call 612-361-9261 with your questions, comments or stories. -Levi Weinhagen
