Prague Czech Republic / Walk the most famous touristic route
The most famous touristic route you must take during your holiday in the Prague Czech Republic.
Our walk started at Malostranské Náměstí where you can visit St.Nicholas Church and see one of the beautiful examples of Baroque architecture. From this square, walk through the narrow streets of Lesser Town (Malá Strana) and climb the stairs to the Prague Castle. Don't forget to take pictures of this location. For more information about Prague Castle, visit
We chose another direction and head to the most famous bridge in Prague. The sculptures and the history of Charles Bridge (Karlův Most) are spectacular. Every day thousands of people cross over Charles Bridge. It is full of energy and life. Don't rush and take your time. Listen to the street musicians, have a look at the art of photographers, painters and cartoonists.
The Charles Bridge links Lesser Town (Malá Strana) and Old Town (Staré Mesto). When you follow Karlovo Street, on your way you'll find many souvenir shops, restaurants, hotels, patisseries and the smell of Trdelník will catch you. By the way, it's not 100% Czech dessert.
When you reach Old Town Square (Staroměstské Náměstí) you'll see the crowd in front of the Astronomical Clock (Pražský Orloj). Get the best place to watch the twelve figures of the Apostles and details of the clock operating for more than 600 years. Next to the Astronomical Clock is the old town hall.
Old Town Square has an outstanding atmosphere. What you can find here? Tyn Church, St.Nicholas Church, Jan Hus Monument and Kinský Palace and many other picturesque buildings.
Take Celetná Street, known as the Royal Route. Don't miss Black Madonna on your right just before the Powder Tower (Prašná brána). You can climb to this tower for an unforgettable sunset in Prague.
Just next to the Powder Tower is the Municipal House. This Art Nouveau building will take your breath away.
Our journey ended at Republic Square (Náměstí Republiky). There are shopping centres (Kotva and Palladium) nearby. You can enjoy the street markets in this square.

Visit Prague 6 - Museum of Communism
Visit Prague 6: The Museum of Communism. In this film, we take a tour around Prague’s Museum of Communism, which covers the Communist period up to Václav Havel and the Velvet Revolution of 1989.
This is a Short from my Prague mini-documentary, Visit Prague. This series of 8 short videos covers what to see, recommendations for where to go, where to eat and drink and how to get there and get around if you have just a few days to tour the Czech capital as a tourist on a short visit.
From the narration:
For a completely different take on life in Prague and the Czechoslovakian Socialist Republic, a visit to the Museum of Communism is well worth a look.
The museum shows life in the communist era, from the aftermath of the Second World War to the end of the 1980s.
The museum has a wealth of material at its disposal. As well their own comprehensive archive, they’ve obtained exhibits from other major collections.
There’s an extensive collection of communist era artwork, including propaganda posters, and there are also recreated spaces including a reconstructed school room - the language lesson on the blackboard is Russian. There’s even a sparsely stocked communist-era shop.
The story ends with Václav Havel and the Velvet Revolution of 1989.

Prague Guide - Mountain Biking & Beer Tour (+50km)
Prague is easily one of Europe's best cities, but did you know that within a short distance from the city center there are a variety of singletrack trails great for mountain biking. On this 50km loop I we will also sample some of the Czech Republic's beer stopping at the popular Pivovar Únětice (Microbrewery) #visitcz #bikecz #visitczechrepublic
This is a 60km ride, that takes 3-5 hours and is considered a level moderate. Scenic ride with an option to take a tour of the famous Konopiště Chateau and then take the train back to Prague. I was guided by local bike expert Filippo Mari from Biko Adventures.

Winter Trip to Prague Zoo - must visit
Winter Trip to Prague Zoo - must visit.
Where is Prague Zoo :
Best time to visit Prague Zoo : Summer ))
Interesting facts about Prague Zoo:
Most tourists visit the Czech Republic’s capital to enjoy its numerous sightseeing treasures. But Prague also offers an amazing experience to all animal lovers. In the Troja quarter of the city, next to a beautiful eponymous Chateau (Zámek Troja), one of the best zoological gardens in the world is awaiting its nature loving visitors. It houses more than 4 thousand animals of over 650 species, including a large number of those listed as threatened.
Prague Zoo was opened to the public in 1931, but its history reaches much further back in time.
During floods in 2002, water levels reached over 7 meters above the landscape and many animals in the zoo unfortunately became victims.
Apart from the above mentioned creatures, thousands of birds, reptiles, mammals, and all imaginable animals from every corner of the world have their home in Troja, in various environments created according to their specific needs and closely resembling their natural habitat. Prague Zoo over the years of its existence gradually created the current total of 12 pavilions and over 150 exhibits.
To properly enjoy everything Prague Zoo has to offer, you should plan your visit as an all-day trip. But if you only want to spend a few hours there, consider our must-see tips. Even though it is quite difficult to choose from the rich variety of nature’s wonders, you can still see many of them in the zoo.
1. Przewalski’s horse.
2. Giant Salamander House.
3. Gorilla Pavilion.
4. Fur Seal Exhibit.
5. Children’s Zoo.

Prague | Charles Bridge | Prague Castle | Astronomical Clock | Europe | Travel | January 3rd, 2018
Trueside Studios presents:
5 Countries... 20 Days Mini-Series
And away we go... to the wonder of it all
For our third stop, we explored the beautiful city of Prague, also known as the “City of a Hundred Spires”.
This old city’s charm lies in its endless sea of red roofs and mesmerizing architectural jewels from the Gothic, Baroque, and Renaissance era.
We walked the ancient cobblestones; trekked across the Charles Bridge (where Tom Cruise did his Mission Impossible scene); stood in awe in front of the magnificent St. Vitus Cathedral; and took in the moment atop the Prague Castle overlooking a sea of red roofs.
