Winter Surf in Devon

A bit of a different style video... no talking in this one! My boyfriend and I headed surfing in Devon for New Year's. We stayed in his van and surfed at Saunton Beach and also explored Welcombe Bay.

The eventful woolacombe beach ride... !

Thankfully neither Rachel or Sara were seriously hurt... Rachel had seen Sara on the ground so swerved and ended up out the side door... Rachel had incredible back pain so an air ambulance was called... fortunately nothing was broken :-) xxx

Brighton doesn't get many days of surf with it being tucked away up the channel, but in winter you still get some surprisingly good sessions! and some very talented local rippers that really do some unbelievable stuff on Brightons ocassional swells.
