In this, the original video of the concept; BBC poet and playwright John Horder reads William Wordsworth's Daffodils over beautifully shot footage of spring daffodils on the shores of Glencoyne Bay Ullswater in the English Lake District that are, amazingly, descendents of the same family of wild flowers growing at the exact spot that inspired the bard of Grasmere, with his sister Dorothy alongside, to pen the immortal lines in 1802.
Filmed April 2001.

When I learned this poem in university in Providence university I was confusing in which kind of view or place that the poet can write this beautiful poem.
After visiting the Lake District I have no doubts on it.

It's a shame that I just be there for two Days.
I will visit there again!

William Wordsworth at Dove Cottage
Short film about William Wordsworth's life at Dove Cottage, narrated by Masters in Literature students.
Dove Cottage
Dove Cottage is a house on the edge of Grasmere in the Lake District of England. It is best known as the home of the poet William Wordsworth and his sister Dorothy Wordsworth from December 1799 to May 1808, where they spent over eight years of plain living, but high thinking. During this period, William wrote much of the poetry for which he is remembered today, including his Ode: Intimations of Immortality, Ode to Duty, My Heart Leaps Up and I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud, together with parts of his autobiographical epic, The Prelude.[1]
William Wordsworth married his wife Mary in 1802, and she and her sister joined the Wordsworths at Dove Cottage. The family quickly expanded, with the arrival of three children in four years, and the Wordsworths left Dove Cottage in 1808 to seek larger lodgings. The cottage was then occupied by Thomas de Quincey for a number of years, before being let to a succession of tenants.
The cottage was acquired by the Wordsworth Trust in 1890 and opened to the public as a writer's home museum in 1891. The house is a Grade 1 listed building, and remains largely unchanged from Wordsworth's day. It receives approximately 70,000 visitors a year. For more info visit:

Explore Dove Cottage - once home to Dorothy and William Wordsworth
This video is from ‘William Wordsworth: Poetry, People and Place’ is a free online course by the University of Lancaster available on FutureLearn.com
December 1799 marked the start of William Wordsworth and his sister Dorothy making a real home together at Dove Cottage in Grasmere. After William married Mary Hutchinson in 1802, Dorothy continued to live with them and to help look after their children. Dorothy’s life was a remarkable one for a woman of her day. Famously, William wrote of Dorothy in one of his poems: ‘She gave me eyes, she gave me ears’.
This film takes us into Dove Cottage itself with Professor Sharon Ruston to explore this house as a home. We see various objects associated with Dorothy and think about the experience of living and writing here.
