We are in the town of Afton, Wyoming where we turned around to go back to the Honda dealer to buy some oil so that we could change out our oil. We had about 4000 miles on the oil by now. After we got into the store, they had every kind of oil for a Honda except the kind that we wanted. Oh well...we enjoyed talking to the folks that either owned it or ran it...really enjoyable, friendly folks. I dont remember the name of the little lady that took us to their oil room, but she was a cutie. If you go to Afton...stop in at the Honda store and tell the folks that the 3 Texans said HOWDY.

Elk Antler Archers in Jackson Hole WY
Jackson Hole, WY - The Elk Antler Arches are is made of around 2,000 antlers, which weigh in at 10,000 to 12,000 pounds. No elk were harmed in the making of the arches. Elk naturally shed their antlers each year and they are collected from the ground. The antlers are then weaved around a steel frame one at a time. Building each arch is a strenuous process. Some are screwed in place in an effort to prevent theft or vandalism but the arches are still vulnerable. There is four elk antler arches guarding the corners of Jackson Hole’s George Washington Memorial Park, more commonly called the Town Square.
