The very first video I made when Yoke and I were in Pokhara. We spent the day eating and hiking to the World Peace Pagoda rowing over Phewa lake. The sunset we witness at the pagoda was beautiful and serene, yet the hardships of hiking to many stairs certainly was paid off.

I am Syifa, an Indonesian female solo traveler, who started solo traveling in 2013. I enjoy budget traveling by staying with locals, motorbike riding but also like to explore local food.
After working for the government till 2016, I left Indonesia to pursue long-term traveling. As naive as I was, it only lasted me for 5 months throughout Asia. In January 2017 I moved to China for an English teaching job, which was considered to be my first living abroad experience. Stayed until May 2018, living in China has changed me, in a good way.
I love traveling and creating travel videos on Youtube. It is such a rewarding work for me that I do wish this would last me for a while.

World Peace Pagoda || white Stupa || Lumbini Nepal

The large World Peace Pagoda at the northern end of Lumbini is designed to be a symbol to unite humanity in a desire for peace. Constructed by Japanese Buddhist, the monument is colored white with a golden Buddha statue.

The Symbol of Peace is open all days of the week for one and all to visit, explore, learn and get inspired to walk the path of non-violence and to live life in unity, which is a necessity in the world today.
World Peace Pagoda is located at the opposite end to Eternal flame in the Lumbini. It is a large white Stupa, with nice architecture. It is the farthest point from Mayadevi temple

A straight line from the Mayadevi Temple to the Stupa would run right down the centre of the site for 3.2 kilometers (2 miles)

This pagoda was built by the Japanese at the cost of US $ 1 million, just outside the main area. The pagoda has the statue of Lord Buddha in the position he took when he was born. It is a gleaming white structure with a golden statue. It is one of the rising attractions of Lumbini.

Lumbinī (Nepali and Sanskrit: लुम्बिनी , the lovely) is a Buddhist pilgrimage site in Nepal. It is the place where, according to Buddhist tradition, Queen Mahamayadevi gave birth to Siddhartha Gautama in 563 BCE. Gautama, who achieved Enlightenment some time around 528 BCE, became the Buddha and founded Buddhism. Lumbini is one of many magnets for pilgrimage that sprang up in places pivotal to the life of the Buddha. umbini was made a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1997.

Anathema are a British rock band from Liverpool.The line-up consists of singers and guitarists Vincent and Daniel Cavanagh, their brother Jamie Cavanagh on bass, Lee Douglas as singer and drummer/keyboardist Daniel Cardoso since November 2012. The band was founded as Pagan Angel in 1990 by the three Cavanagh siblings, drummer John Douglas, and singer Darren White, as a death/doom band. The band released their sixth album A Fine Day to Exit in 2001, turning to an alternative sound.
