Mo Hill In Wuhan | China(武汉磨山景区)
An important part of the famous Wuhan East Lake Scenic Area, Mo Hill, also called Millstone Hill, lies southeast of East Lake. The graceful east peak that looks like a millstone gave the hill its present name, Millstone Hill. Covering a total area of about 5 square kilometers, it boasts abundant plants and unique gardens, amid the culture of the State of Chu (one of the seven warring states before Qin (221BC - 206BC) in China's first feudal dynasty). Many charming scenes, such as Chutian Jimu (Looking at the State of Chu As Far As One Can See), Botanical-Viewing Garden, Tiantai Chenxi (Morning Rays of Heaven Platform), and Zhu De's Stele Pavilion, are located on the hill.

Cherry in Full Bloom in Central China City of Wuhan
Lets talk about the cherry blossom season... And there are many other cities where you can enjoy the picturesque view.We take you to Wuhan in China and Tokyo, Japan.
World’s largest cherry garden? 10,000 cherries in bloom in Wuhan, China
Located near East Lake in central Chinese city of Wuhan, the Moshan Cherry Blossom Garden has attracted thousands of tourists since mid-March.
This garden covers an area of 260 acres. There are more than 10,000 cherry blossom plants in it. The first batch of cherry blossoms are presented by Deng Yingchao, wife of China’s former premier Zhou Enlai. They were a gift from former Japanese Prime Minister Kakuei Tanaka.
Most cherry blossom plants are cultivated by joint investment of China and Japan in the year of 1998.
Now Moshan at East Lake of Wuhan is billed as one of the world’s three largest cherry gardens. The other two are at Washington State of America and Aomori Prefecture in Japan.
A Minute in Wuhan - Breakfast | #ThisIsWuhan
Guò zǎo means having breakfast in Wuhan dialect.
It is the dialect that brings Wuhan furthest on the national map of China.
Wuhan may be the earliest city to wake up. Because in Wuhan, breakfast is the most important agenda of the day.
Having a substantial breakfast become a habit of Wuhan people due to the port culture influence – people use to get up very early in the morning for port labour.
Among different kinds and styles of breakfast, the Hot Dry Noodles and the Doupi are the hottest ones.
Because of the variety of breakfast choices, the street food stands are scattered everywhere in Wuhan. Wuhan well deserved the name of “city of breakfast”.

[VLOG 20190317] A trip to Hankouli, Wuhan, China
I am living in Huizhou (惠州), China and studying in Wuhan (武汉). This is a VLOG for record when I was travelled to a retro town Hankouli (汉口里), Wuhan in March 17, 2019.
Hankouli, built on the east gate of Yuanboyuan, is one of the four main buildings of Wuhan International Garden Expo 2015. Hankouli is the east entrance service area of Yuanboyuan during the Garden Expo. It is also a tourist street that displays the history and culture of Han dynasty.

East Lake Bike Ride at Dusk, Wuhan China
I've recently started regular bike rides around Wuhan, this is one of my favorites. Weather wasn't great, and you can see the smog over the city. Hopefully in the future I can re-film the same route at sunrise.
Wuhan has created a 'Green Way' Walk/Bike Road around East Lake which includes:
Liyuan Park - a large urban park on the west side of the lake, with a popular free swimming area
Hubei Provincial Museum
Hubei Art Museum; the two museums are across the street from each other, just a block from the main entrance to Liyuan Park
Wuhan Donghu Ocean Aquarium, proud of its flock of penguins
Wuhan Railway Station - a few km northeast of the lake
Moshan (磨山, Millstone Mountain) Scenic Area, including East Lake Cherry Blossom Park
The Chu Castle (楚城)[6]
Wuhan Botanical Garden

China University of Geosciences, Wuhan Campus

Houshan (Monkey Mountain) but no monkeys. One must travel to nearby Forest Park to see live monkeys, some un-caged.

East Lake wikipedia description:
East Lake (simplified Chinese: 东湖; traditional Chinese: 東湖; pinyin: Dōng Hú) is a large freshwater lake within the city limits of Wuhan, China, the largest urban lake in China. Wuhan's East Lake covers an area of 88 square kilometers (33 square kilometers of water area). It is one of the 5A tourist zones of China, and admits over a million people yearly. It is one of the largest sites in Huazhong District. It is also the largest City Lake in China. East Lake is made of four areas, Ting Tao, Moshan, Luo Yan Island and Museum of Hubei Province.
One end of Moshan features a Daoist temple built over the putative site of where one of the characters in Romance of the Three Kingdoms performed special Qi Men Dun Jia rites before the famous battle of Red Cliffs. No one knows precisely the actual location, but the Moshan site was an archeological dig in the early part of the twentieth century.
