Three generations on the Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge

Chen Qingming, 38, is a maintainer on the Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge. His father and grandpa both worked on the bridge for decades. The magnificent structure is more of an affectionate bond between three generations of his family.

The Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge is the very first bridge built on the river. Opened on October 15, 1957, it was the first double-deck road and rail bridge in China. #70YearsInherited

Widest Bridge over Yangtze River Opens in Wuhan

Zhuankou Yangtze Bridge, the widest bridge over the Yangtze River, opened to traffic on Thursday.

The bridge, with eight lanes, is the ninth bridge over China's longest river, the Yangtze, in Wuhan, capital of central China's Hubei Province.

China's first bridge across Yangtze River celebrates 60 years of service

The first bridge across the Yangtze, China's longest river, will celebrate 60 years of service in early October. A man who's named after the bridge tells his story of decades of change Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge has brought to his family and to the country.

Skyscrapers and the Second Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge were lit up at 7 p.m. Tuesday night in Wuhan City, central China's Hubei Province. The neon lights displayed Hang on, Wuhan in Chinese.

The banks of the Yangtze River are dominated by the huge landing stages for cruise ships before modern backdrop of the 7-million metropolis of Wuhan.
The ship's own orchestra of the Princess Elaine greets the passengers with music. During our journey will we discover the all-rounders of the crew members.
The ships cast off near the spot where Mao swam across the Yangtze in 1966.
We took a suite with separate living and sleeping areas, bathroom and a small kitchen, since we stayed on this ship almost a week. With the whole film equipment it would have got a little narrow in the normal cabins.

Unweit der Stelle, an der Mao 1966 den Jangtse durchschwamm, legen heute die Schiffe ab.
Wir haben uns eine Suite mit eigenem Wohn- und Schlafbereich, sowie einem Bad und einer kleinen Küche genommen, da wir fast eine Woche auf diesem Schiff verbracht haben. Auf Grund des ganzen Filmequipments wäre es in den normalen Kabinen doch etwas eng geworden.
