Xi'an City Wall Park: What to do in Xi'an China!
If you are in central Xi'an, perhaps just have visited the city wall, Xi'an City Wall park is a great bit of park along the ancient wall. It's a perfect place to just have a little stroll or find a bench to sit down and catch your breath for a while. If you are wondering what to do in Xi'an, this is definitely not an attraction in it self, but if you are exploring the city you will most likely find yourself in this area, and if so it's great chance to just relax a little after walking and exploring for a whole day. Also great for some people watching!

Xi’an Qujiang Pond Park, Relics Park of Xi’an, Qujiang Pool Park, Xian Attractions, Xian Holiday
On this trip we came to Qujiang Pond Park in Xi'an. For protecting the cultural relics and historic sites of Xi'an city, the government adopted a protective development policy, based on the surrounding tourism resources and culture, and restored the original scenery and monuments. Qujiang Pond Park is a free open urban eco-cultural park that integrates folk heritage and art displays of the Tang dynasty. The picturesque scenery and wide roads attracts many office workers to ride bikes here in their leisure time. The trip around the lake contains both flat roads and small slopes, which adds more enjoyment to cyclists.
Terracotta Chaos: Xi'an China!
After visiting Beijing and The Great Wall of China, we took a train to Xi'an! In this video we take the bus to the Terracotta Army Museum. Stay tuned for the next episode when we try to ride bikes around the entire city of Xi'an.

What to do in Xi'an : Qujiangchi Relics Park
If you are traveling to Xi'an and wondering what to do, Qujiangchi Relics Park is a lovely destination to spend half a day just relaxing, walking around in a nice green area. Contrary to many other parks in China, you are allowed to walk on the grass - hence it's also a perfect place to have a picnic, and if you have kids, let them run wild for a bit. It's really a family park, but I would go there on my own and find a quiet spot to read a book too. Lots of seats, playgrounds, grass, trees, and also two quite large ponds. So if you're looking for a park to hang out in while in Xi'an, this is it!
If you are on a tighter schedule, but still want to go to a park, Xi'an City wall park is just by the city wall park (hence the name haha). So that's closer, if you just need a short little break. Check out my video from there:

Huashan Mountain near Xi'an, China 2018
This is a volg documenting our whole experience at Mt. Hushan! Half the fun was making our way up the mountain on the 30 min cable car ride. The views were amazing! While the hike was challenging it was well worth it. It was interesting to come across shrines along the way. There were also locks and red cloths along the path placed by people with prayer. That, along with the rising peaks, made for a mystical atmosphere . Hope you enjoy!

Jianbing Guozi - Chinese Street Food (in Xi'an)!
The Jiangbing (or jianbing guozi) is a thin wrap that you can find pretty much all over China. It's common as a quick breakfast, and for me just something to eat in-between meals. It's not that filling to be honest, but tasty and cheap! In Xi'an and the little town where we live, they are 5 RMB each, so if you are wondering what to eat in Xi'an, this is a cheap and tasty option.
